It was probably warranted.

I read an article about Rick Rubin recently and he had just become co-President of Columbia Records. One of the points he made was that the role of the traditional publicity department was outdated and that instead he wanted to step up the programme of hiring 'senior' posters on fan forums to influence opinion and promote the albums and the shows instead.

Is this a role you've been given, Saint John and Tito? Or are you just hoping to curry enough favour to land some kind of place for yourselves within the organisation?

Deb - surely the Black album has at least a couple of tunes up your street? In fact...in the 1990s they even did a Joviesque country-rock number.

If I say no, I absolutely fucking mean no, and I would expect he does too.

I agree 100%. He was gracious enough to give autographs and talk to them what more did they want from him....geesh! That is just fuckin' rude on all levels.....damn I would have been so thrilled just to be able to afford seats like that to see the game and Steve sitting beside me would have been a bonus!

 That reminds me a bit of your "There's a new Sheriff in town..." moment with Reardon and Journeytroll a while back. Your line in machismo is straight out of some black and white movie, Saint John. It's actually rather quaint. Still credit where credit's due for the bukkake gag...classic MR material...unlike all this publicity department chatter you've taken to recently...

Maybe because people with camera's don't respect the fact he doesn't want pixs. That would be a good guess.

There are a few fan snapshots from the 1990s of Perry at rollercoaster parks and such like with a girlfriend he was seeing at the time. And he was with a mate of his at the World Series. But other than those photos...you're right...it's rare to see him with anyone.

I don't hate SP at all. He's a wonderful singer, but he is a public figure and since he doesn't like to talk I'm left to airing my own observations about him. No hero warship from me, but if Neal and Jon can be blasted, then so can Steve.

I was gonna say that perhaps the reason he is never spotted with females is that neutering is known to help singers regain the use of their upper register, but that would probably be too mean. :P

Just kidding ....A JOKE..GOT IT?

I don't find the need to blast anyone. Someday he might just come back. I don't think because you are a public figure your fair game to hostility. I guess you have no choice on the matter, but would you like it if you are in their shoes? I am just saying you used to be easier going. I miss that about you.

Obviously you missed my post about hoping to see him perform at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. I've always done a little mean, dark humored, hit and run posting. you just never noticed it. None of the band members are saints, just as we aren't. Don't take life so seriously, you only live once.
