Melissa Etheridge Signing Party with Lora, Cyndy, & Dean

Postby Memorex » Wed Oct 01, 2008 6:01 pm

Some pix from tonight's CD signing for Melissa Etheridge. Had a blast. She did a four song acoustic set. We missed Lula, Deeno! I've got a 15 year old that can babysit next time!!!

L to R - Me (blitzed), my wife Ann, Cyndy, Deano, Lora. Tim took the picture, so blame him for the focus.

What did she play? Looks like a fun gig.

That picture of her looking up is hilarious. You could put text balloons with all kinds of things on that one.

Nice shots!

My guess is that she's looking up at Dean and thinking "I hope this dude doesn't think I was lip-synching!!!"

T'was an eye opening experience when I saw her this past July in Vermont. The lesbian couples outnumbered straight couples probably by a 2:1 margin (no exaggeration). I say this because where I reside, I rarely have seen lesbian couples in my life. All shapes, ages and sizes. Before the show, I remember commenting to my wife, "WoW!, Look at this!"(not that there's anything wrong with this). Come to find out, the ones I spoke with were very humanlike. Nice people for the mostpart...except for when my wife (huge fan) decided near the end of the show she was going to mosey up close to the stage. Prior to the show it had rained quite a bit, making the grounds very muddy and slick. Well, at one point when she was close to Melissa, she slipped and grabbed onto someone to break her fall. A split second later an ogrelike he-dyke exclaimed to her, "DON'T TOUCH MY WOMAN!!"

Anyways, she puts on one hell of a good show.

I used to feel that way once too, until I realized I'm not going to change these people. Should I have blasted them with biblical quotes and get pummeled by 5,000 lesbians?

Besides, this sideshow was bonus entertainment.

I forgot for just a minute that its very acceptable to offend and hurt people around here.
I've come to my senses. What was I thinking.
The only thing missing now is the disgusting name calling. So go ahead. Let it fly.

Good way to screw up Mem's thread though.

She did "Blue Christmas"?? First off, it's October 1st... even I will wait until next week to break out the carols.

This was in Vermont. Anything goes there. In defense of the lesbians present, I didn't witness anyone engaging in open sex...mostly just hand-holding with a few slow dancing and gazing deep into each other's eyes.
