Sorry dude...I love mob movies. I always have! "Goodfellas" was a superb movie with a superb cast. I also really liked a movie that came out the same year "E.T." did, but it was "Rocky III". My sisters all went to see "E.T.", and I begged not to be tortured by it (and I was only 12 then)!

In no particular order:

1-Dumb and Dumber
2-National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
3-Pretty Woman
4-Steel Magnolias
5-Caddy Shack
6-The Champ
7-Old Yeller
8-Return to Me
9-Zoolander
10- Tommy Boy/Black Sheep-I know, that's two but I love them both and they are really the same movie, just slightly different story lines.
and, in a close 11th, Water Boy

I was 12 when ET came out as well. Mob movies (Goodfellas, Scarface, Casino, The Godfather, etc.) are revolting and boring. A bunch of morons with silly accents running around killing each other and generally making the world a far worse place. "Mobsters" ruin lives, families and communities. Hard to cinematically impress me with such a mundane plot. They're pieces of shit and I have no desire to see DeNiro or Pesci ever portray one again. It's old. There's no plot. I did like the movie "A Bronx Tale" though. :)

Some of us find them highly entertaining!

Saint John wrote:A bunch of morons with silly accents

I'm from Boston, so have no comment about accents

You do realize that it's just a movie, right?

Saint John wrote:Hard to impress me with such a mundane plot.

I'm not usually impressed with the "plot" in pornos, either

Saint John wrote: I did like the movie "A Bronx Tale" though. :)

That's another flick I love! Great movie!

And do you realize that the majority of them are based on actual events? Basically glorifying these slugs.

So you watch mob flicks to get a boner. Disturbing to say the least.
