Also, the wonderful people that I have met on this board because of Journey. Starting in Vegas for the first show. Myself and Saint John leading 15,000+ into the first show with "End of the Road" bellowing throughout the concert lobby. All the "sayings" we now have from those Phrases "Lotion", Carol Ann - Go To The Light!", " Rick", "Dice,Dice", Dans Boom Box, " His "Rudy" Fat Albert Hat, that Damn "Bobby Brown Hairdo, Shaking those bottles of beer,The Broom, "AHHHH come here Rhi, Mel face, That feeling in the Heart Bar after that first show, the energy was insane, the feeling of "There Back". I could go on and on. How about that anyone outside of this "Journey thing", completely not understanding where we are coming from. When my Brother first turned me on to this site, I was so relieved that there was still people out in the world still feeling the same way I do. I felt like Will Smith from "I Am Legend" for so many years. When I returned from Vegas I tried to explain to my mother how everybody was so kind and nice and she couldn't believe that people from all over the world was meeting for this first show just to see Journey and talk about it. Everybody thought there was a "catch" but thats exactly what it is. People meeting and sharing a common bond and making new friends. I am very thankful for that. Again - people outside just don't understand. I hope these friendships last a lifetime. I would hope that someday, someday that my wife and myself could host everybody if the would return to "Pittsburgh". That would be wonderful. she's a great host. My only regret from this tour is that Rick and Maui did not make the trip to Cleveland. I really wish they could have been there to end it. I missed those guys. I wish I could have spoke to them more in Vegas but everybodys time together was so short.
As far as shows go. The Cleveland concert was by far and away the greatest concert I have ever been to in my life and I have seen a ton of groups and hundreds of shows. Front row-dead center-singing every word for 2 hours. Arnel making me feel part of the show - Dans elbow in my fucking eye - Everyone getting together again -. Besides my children being born, that was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
Shoutouts 2 new friends - Dan, Rip, Q, Behshad, Rick, Maui, Mel, Lynn, Gayle, Rhi,Tango, Deano, LU, Fu, BJG , Jrnysurvior, RossVlryRKS, if I forgot anyone I am sorry.
Thanks - Everyone for a special tour. It's been rough in between but great in the moment. Dan- for a new friendship. Many more years. In a short period of time we created some killer fucking laughs and memories. Andrew - for having a platform for all this. Neal - for Making the "Ballsy" move. Arnel - for bringing the music back to life and giving new music a life of it's own. Trav - Glad to have you aboard now. It's nice to have some blood to walk with me through this "Journey" and sharing the passion. Little Tony - thanks a billion for going to Scranton with "Dad" just to make him happy even though you was not sure you really wanted to. You could not have made me happier. A very special moment for me and us forever ( we now have a new member guys.) Last but not least . Jenni - I know it is hard to grasp and not easy to live with but still tolerating it even if it's not in the best interest. I know it's not a easy thing to deal with while living it. One day we will walk this "Journey" together. We just have to find the right shoes. We will.
Thanks everyone. you hold a special place in my heart now. Continued friendship and see you again.

Wow, T. Awesome post, brother. This was far and away the best summer I've ever had. Thanks to so many for being a part of it. I am very much looking forward to 2009 for more Vegas-like memories, duets with Behshad, mops up my ass, and good times with great people.

That duet is perhaps only rivaled by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers singing Islands In The Stream.Melissa wrote:StevePerryHair wrote:Saint John wrote:lol...I think Gayle will be forever traumatized everytime she hears the opening riff to Never Walk away.T-TIME wrote:Saint John wrote:No worries! The DVD Filming was such an awesome time, the LTS na-nas heard while leaving was an amazing thing even though some of the notes had an "accent" to them. The Heart Bar, what can I say...TOO MANY COOL PEOPLE. Although, T-Time had everyone "compelled"(mostly Rhi) to move them. SJ-$800...really? We should have done shots, then you'd have gotten to a $1000...just kidding. Rip, Maui, TX, YJ and Ice, Mel, Rick all y'all and anyone else that I got to slap high fives with...YOU GUYS ARE THE COOLEST.
San Diego-Chula Vista Concert, Yo Arnel...friggen' Banana Yellow Pants? 1st show in California. Awesome set by Journey. Heart was wailing the tunes(loved the LedZep Cover) and Cheap Trick...she's tight indeed.
Temecula-Pechanga Casino-The Last show in California. 1200 seats strong and 3 Deen leads. Hell yeah. AP giving it his all despite being sick. Not bad for a sick boy indeed.
