OT | ANOTHER JEREMEY NEW SONG (MYSPACE)

Postby Jeremey » Fri Oct 10, 2008 6:04 am

Just wanted to share a VERY rough demo of the new song I'm finishing up right now on the Myspace page. It's "Girl, Can't You See He's Gone," so check it out at myspace.com/jeremeyhunsicker and let me know what you think! This song was written with Stephen Chesney, most recently of Waking Jonah. Stephen and myself are working on a few more songs to add to the CD while John Spinks and I are also continuing to collaborate on this project, so all in all, I am hoping this will be a quality project that people will really enjoy. Anyway, this is a first cut, but Stephen and myself wanted to leak a snip out there to get some interest in things building...

Thanks for checking it out!

Jeremey, I like what I am hearing here.
Hooky chorus and more AOR retro sounding then "What Can I Do" - which, given your Perryish tenor voice, is a good thing.
"I think we should all sue this women for depriving us of our God given right to go down with a clear mind, and good thoughts." - Stu, Consumate Pussy Eater

LIKE it!!
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

I like that also, it's got a little Survivor vibe going on with it.

Amazing stuff, Jeremey! I can't wait for this CD

Both of those sound to me like the type of songs that would be put on a CD if Perry ever got back with Journey.

Spinks of "The Outfield" I presume. Any recent health updates?

Thanks for taking a listen you guys! Sorry I haven't been able to pop in and thank you all earlier. Been redesigning the Frontiers website today, and will be getting the CDs done while on the road this weekend. Thanks again...

The layered vocals on the 1st song reminds me of ROR. The 2nd clip was too brief, lol. Overall, a good start. I'm sure they'll be great songs after some polishing.

I'm not sure I like "Girl, Can't You See He's Gone" but "What Can I Do" is pretty good.

Yah...the drums are too spastic, the lead vocal too much vibrato through out the mid phrase. Song is "ok" but either needs to rock more or lighten up, right now it's a bit to bland.
