Thanks for the link SM. I'm a fan but this doesn't sound different enough to grab me. I'll buy it online for sure though.

I was hoping for some really new sounds from them. Has Andrew done a review of it yet?

Does anyone know if this CD is available in stores like Best Buy, etc? Or is just available online? I think the album is great....but one e-bay price had it for $27.98 plus S7H! A bit rich for my wallet.... :(

The stores that Andrew has listed at the top of his site has it at around $16.00 plus S&H. I ordering next week when I get paid. But, not all have it, about half and I forget which half, so I will ahve to look thru them again.

Just got it myself. I have to agree.....Grossi did a *great* job at keeping Hugo's sometimes out of control falsetto in complete control.

Definitely some of his best work...

Though I like Hugo quite a bit (I've got 3 of his albums and the Open Skyz album), this sounds pretty bland to me. Also, pretty dated. The guy's got a killer set of pipes and he still sounds good, just nothing that really catches my ear as a standout track. I'll probably get it, but it'll have to grow on me because at first listen, it seems pretty unexciting.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

My Ramos-Hugo cd just came in the mail today. I've given it a few spins and have honed in on "Bring Back this Love" and " Tomorrow" as my favorite tracks. I don't think the previews give the material justice. The music is good based on just a few spins. Hugo and Josh both sound great on the tracks. The mix leaves a bit to be desired though. The drums are piercing and a lot of the mix come across muddy. A remix would make this cd 2x better. I was quite surprised to see our own Eric Ragno as having music writing credit on several tracks. Cheers Eric on a job well done. You will hear hints of "Don't Stop Believing" and "Living for You" if you're paying attention. Enjoy!

"in the night..."!

A treat of an album and Hugo sounds on great form. Better than Revelation for my money (although obviously not for the vast majorities)!

Mac,

When can we expect a review of the disk? And do you know when the disk will be available for mail order?

Thanks!

Aaron
