As a veteran of nearly 40 New England winters, I can assure you that the novelty wears off, in a hurry. You'll learn that "snow is beautiful" for about 5 minutes, after it has fallen. When all the plows and sand trucks come by, it looks like massive mounds of fecal matter, and isn't too pleasant to look atFunny how you never come across someone from Minnesota talking about how "beautiful" snow is
