What the hell is wrong with you delusional Titan fans? Now you want to "see them run the table"? In the history of the NFL, only one single team has gone 16-0. I promise you that the Titans won't be the second team to pull it off! You do realize that Kerry Collins is their QB, right? Listen, I like the Titans and absolutely believe that they are a good team, but you Tennessee fans really need to get a grip! The Titans are 6-0 and still haven't beaten one single team with a winning record, so let's not get too carried away here!

I knew that would get your blood pressure up!

Anyhoo, I don't think they'll do it...just said it would be nice. Please, I'm the one who's worried they'll lose 3 of the next 4, remember?

I'm sure there's a 24 hour Walmart around there, the hard part will be finding something comfortable to sit on in the electronics department.

I'd check with your local ABC affiliate. The Patriots Monday night games are always simulcast on the local Boston ABC affiliate, for those who don't have cable. Disney owns both networks, so you may luck out.

It sounds like Brady is having infection problems with his knee after the surgery. If he's not ready to go at the beginning of the2009 season, should the Pat's go out and spend money for another Quarterback, or keep riding Cassel?

I believe the Brady story is simply something for the media to talk about. I've spoken with my father in law (who is a surgeon), who has told me that it is very unlikely this would set him back all that far. At this point, he's less than two weeks out of surgery, so even if the procedure has to be performed again, the most it will set him back is one month. I think the larger issue for Brady is him coming back, and performing like he always has. It's a very serious knee injury, and knee injuries are always difficult to come back from. Most players simply have this ongoing feeling that their surgically repaired knee is going to snap in half, if they move the wrong way.

I'm wondering if Philip Rivers is going to have an issue from rushing back after his surgery. Isn't there a chance of the other knee blowing after these surgeries due to something in the players mechanics being altered?

I live in Nahville & this city is all excited about Monday Night Football & of course the Titans being undefeated.

The radio sports talk shows have had various ESPN personel on their shows the last couple of days, I was surprised to hear one of them report that it takes 400 people to put on the Monday night game.

Yep...so far. The season is only half over. Tennessee has a favorable schedule the rest of the way, but they're definitely not running the table. In my opinion, they lose to Chicago next weekend, Indy, and Pittsburgh. 13-3 should still be good enough for the number one seed and a bye in the AFC. I think it will come down to Tennessee and Pittsburgh.

pittsburgh steelers vs. washington redskins tonight.

redskins win this one will put more space between the titans and steelers in the race for home field advantage in playoffs.

Yes, I am aware Orton was injured and don't think Orton is anything special. Also, the Bears and Titans are all about defense. The truth of the matter is that Kerry Collins is probably every bit as bad as Grossman is at this point in his career. The Titans have a superb running game and defense but their receivers are dreadful, and so is their QB!

I don't see the Bears dropping three potential interceptions like the Packers did yesterday (granted they weren't easy picks but at least one should have been caught).

Mike,

I forgot to congratulate you on your win a couple of weeks ago. You guys pounded the shit out of us. Peyton looked rough and the defense sucked. At least we we're able to slip past the fuckin Pats last night!

Nothing to get too excited about there! They basically beat a JV team on their home turf, and barely pulled it off! The Colts are definitely no longer an elite team and it's time for Marvin Harrison to hang it up!

That hurts to read too. Marvin Harrison has been one of my favorite players for a very long time.
