Nominate a voice that YOU feel is a God of rock. Prepare to defend your nominee and be blasted if you nominate...say...Kevin Cronin. I'll begin with an easy one:

Mr. Ronnie James Dio: Catalog speaks for itself. 66 years old and still rocking. One of the best I've ever seen live.

Robert Plant - One of the best voices for Rock 'n Roll.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Someone's gotta say it, so I might as well get it done sooner rather than later -

Steve Mother Fuckin' Perry.
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

This is the voice for me. I don't care what anybody says. Bono. His voice on songs llike One Tree Hill, One, With or Without You. I loved Joshua Tree. U2 is one of my favorite bands and Bono, what can I say? He's my rock n' roll god. What a presence on stage.

** changed my post. I wrote Alone and meant the song One.

I knew I was going to get slammed. But I don't care. I'm standing by it. One Tree Hill is one of my favorite songs.
