That's not a fair poll. Can you add a 50/50 option or at least Manilow? :)

I'm voting undecided. But if its the choice of which concert to go to.

Dude,

You're a fuckin tard for even posting this. Bruce vs. Journey, are you fucking kidding me? Weeping Jesus on a cross, you must be joking! Bruce isn't competent enough to lick Perry's sack sweat. WTF are you thinking brother?

Now Journey vs. JSS, that would be the comparison. But we couldn't have that as the first negative comment about JSS would lock the thread. Funny how it doesn't happen for anyone else.

Now quit being a dick bro!

L8r,

Aaron

I need to come correct here. Talked to Deano tonight and he convinced me more than a bag of cocks for Richard Simmons. Springsteen is a fucking genius. His songwriting is off the charts and Deano has made me see the light.

Aaron, fuck off nutbag. Cain vs Bruce in songwriting? Are you fucking high? Wedding photographs vs "Lined with the light of the living?" Bruce is a poet, and one with the people. Friga rips off Hallmark cards while shopping in Target.

Deano is a beacon of light and has drawn me in with his insight.

I love Journey, but have to give it up to E Street here.

I vote for Bruce.

PS- Fuck you Tito.  :D

Suck me bro, Cain is a fag by definition. Perry and Schon as song writers are the ticket. "When You're Alone It Ain't Easy", "Majestic", "Patiently", "Any Way You Want It", "Precious Time" and "Stay Awhile" are song I'd put up against any of Bruce's stuff. I like Springsteen, but there is really no comparison.

Let's break this down:

Songwriting- Duh. Bruce
Guitar- Neal vs Nils and Steven Van Zandt - adv Neal\
Piano- Roy Bittan vs Friga. Bittan by a country mile
Keyboards. RIP Danny Federici
Drums- Max v Deen. Adv Deen
Bass- Garry Tallent v Ross Valory. Adv Tallent
Clarence vs nobody- adv Big Man!
Violin- Suzie tyrell adv Suzie!
Extra guitar and vox- Patty Scalfa

Bruce wins folks, seriously.

Look at the album and concert sales. 3-1 easy.

Love you Dean.

When Journey, in any incarnation, Perry or no, can write a song like the River, The Promised Land, 10th Ave Freeze Out, Born to Run or The Rising, get back to me. In fact, check out Rosalita and tell me that doesn't get your pussy wet. Listen to Jungleland and tell me you have heard better lyrics. You can't so fuck off already.

The lyrics to "Livin' to Do", for instance, are just as good as any of those.

An alternative analysis:

Songwriting- Perry/Schon, there is no comparison
Guitar- Neal vs Nils and Steven Van Zandt - adv Neal by a lot
Piano- Roy Bittan vs Friga. => Doesn't matter because key guys are fags
Keyboards. => see above
Drums- Max v Deen. Adv Deen
Bass- Garry Tallent v Ross Valory. Toss up
Clarence vs nobody- Adv nobody, a sax is part of an orchestra and not a rock band
Violin- Suzie tyrell - Adv nobody again, the violin belongs in a country band, not a fuckin rock band
Extra guitar and vox- Adv Castro, the dude should be out front. And Friga can play rythum guitar which would elevate him to hetero status.

Journey by TONS.

Hey slackjaw, you say sax doesn't belong in a rock band, yet Journey included it in ROR? Also, if you say Ross Valory is on par with Tallent, you indeed suck man milk from gym dudes. Ross sucks, period. neal carried his sorry ass for years. Fuck him.

PS- this is for Deano...Clarence is a living legend, and his sax solos rival any guitar solo anywhere, so eat the crumbs from my asshole.

Absolutely.

As a Journey fan I'm insulted that that hack Springsteen would even be named along side of Journey.

Springsteen is easily one of the most insanely overrated hacks of all time.

Funny thing, my brother recently told me he'd rather chew on tinfoil than listen to Springsteen.

Okay, you've convinced me. The Boss is better than Perry. Little Steven is better than Neal Schon. Let's rename this the E-Street Forum.

Or let's not.....

LOL. GO fuck yourself queen. You have always and I mean always loved cock and cream. You have always sucked cock, and now you are spitting up the remains of yesterdays house call. Bruce is the single greatest writer ever.

What a total fuck you are.

A buddy of mine once told me that when Born In The USA came out on the radio that he thought that the guy who was singing it (Springsteen) must be a Vietnam vet who was not a professional singer/musician but was just some patriotic guy, and that he just did the song to get people to be more patriotic.
