Kerry Livgren resides at the top of the list - lyrically.

No One Together

Centuries of backward ways, have many left behind us
Who can count the good men gone away
The fruits of all our labors have left us as we started
We've come too far to end it in a day
It seems that everything we do is wrong
A one way trip to nowhere all along
Just look around and tell me what you see
Another stupid page of history

(Chorus)
No one together, No one is touching ground
Look to each other, Chaos is all around
Same situation, Nothing is really new
No one together, No one is me and you

Lo the horn of plenty is bursting at the seam
The harvest of the world will be our prize
We claim to know the secrets, the answers have been found
But how can one fool make another wise
'Cause nothing's better than it used to be
To live and die is still a mystery
We take away and we give nothing back
We just consume it all and still we lack

(Chorus)

Each day passed by so quickly now
You can feel it drawing much closer now
The signs are in the faces of the people in the street
The signs are in the sound I hear
The voices filled with hate and fear
You can feel it drawing near you now

The multitudes are searching, and wandering in vain
For what they seek cannot be found in men
The truth that lies before us now is plain for all to see
To grow without is not to grow within
For in the promise is a victory
To see the way that everything should be
To feel the joy that we were meant to know
We should have realized so long ago

We're all together, Harmony will abound'
Look at each other, All that was lost is found
New situation if our direction's true
We're all together, Everyone is me and you
Tom Brady IS the G.O.A.T.

Let me ask you all a question. I figured out a victory after all.

If Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and Journey toured together next year, who would close the shows?

Hahaha. I win....every time. Suck my balls Journey Survivor!

If Journey got to tour with Springsteen (never happen)...

Cain and Arnel would apply for jobs with Springsteen (doing anything) and ditch Schon.

Schon puts on a mexican hat, then he, Valory and Castro start a Stevie Ray tribute act opening for anybody that'll take them.

So much for the poll if Journey can't even get on the bill with Springsteen.

Martin couldn't roadie for Bruce, let alone be his pen pal. Martin will be selling washers and dryers at Sears, and if they collapse he will undoubtedly head on over to Lowe's for the employee discount and sell fuckin whirlpools.

He sucks.

Oh and yeah, seriously, Martin can't sing as well as Bruce. owned

First of all....Springsteen has never been bigger than Journey were around 1982/1983.

Second of all....popularity does not prove greatness.

I have friends who are strictly bar musicians that very few people have ever heard of that are a million times more talented than Springsteen was, is, or ever will be.

Bryan Adams and his band are good, I'll give you that. But Springsteen friggin blows.

You do know that in the music world, and with much respect and admiration, the E Street Band is widely regarded as the best band in music right? You do know Bruce is widely recognized as a living legend do you not? Steve Perry himself has said this. LOL, you are retarded. Go fuck yourself and spin ROR again as you jack off to Suzanne.

Dan is right on this, for the most part. In this argument, Bruce v Journey, it is valid. There is a reason he has sold 89 million units versus Journey's 41.

OK Bruce haters, Bryan Adams better than Springsteen? It's all about the baiting now sounds like.

As Arkansas mentioned in the Perry thread. Journey as a "band" has been fragmented starting with ROR. It's been a commercial vehicle since then. Period. Even TBF with the "Escape lineup" was for commerical and personal reasons.

Did you see the Badlands clip above? Watch that and tell me Bruce is not a freakin' legend. It's not all about a voice ya know.

Here it is again:
