There is Nothing Left to Say

Postby WIX » Mon Oct 27, 2008 1:55 am

I have been gone for several weeks and I have put myself into mental rehab. In the care of myself.

While I am still in rehab I have been cutting clippings out of newspapers and magazines and have been taking pictures of myself and pasting them next to Sarah Palin. As in another life I was her first and only dude. I also have put my head on her body but that just didn't seem right, it made too pretty of an it. It felt strange to have that nice of legs. Although I did massage my legs often while looking at the photo, I feel like I have known her my whole life AT THIS POINT.

In counting numbers and collecting clippings and looking at political consipiracy theories, let alone wondering when our country will be flushed down the black hole and riots will ensue. I came up empty.

I had to go onto something with an answer as that road had no answers, just endless corruption and lies.

So I have researched all current and old archives of any and all Journey related websites, blogs etc..... After collecting info from posts and data I have come to a conclusion.

Every possible Journey scenario has been raised
Every possible Journey question has been asked
Every possible hate thread has been used time and time again
Every possible why I love Journey thread has been posted
Every Possible what if post has been used
Every Sexual band fantasy thread has been posted by male or female

So with this info it is my recommendation to cut costs in these hard economic times. And that any and all posts be halted, websites shut down until a few decades have passed and all of us are dead. Then have a time vault to open up for a new generation to hash out all these possible questions again.

I also recommend this for Van Halen and GnR.

Now I will say I did find only one actual question that has never been asked regarding Journey and I feel this should be asked and debated or posed. Then turn off the light and let us all be at peace and rest our minds forever....forever....forever....

The question was this -

1. At anytime has a past or current Journey band member ever worn a groupies panties on stage during a concert ?

This will be the final and last Journey question to fill all the potential scenarios. It will be up to the Webmaster whether or not to keep their sites open after this has been answered or debated. But I feel unless someone close to the band answers this it will be just another unanswered mystery.

Good luck and yer welcome for all my hard research on this subject.

Smell you all later............................... :)

You know how many people will have to find new hobbies?

I'm not sure the existential question of "Why is Journey?" has ever been debated. We may need another week.

actually the prefix to that has been used daily

but the "Why is Journey" only posed was actually posed on accident back on 3-12-2001 when they submitted post incorrectly.

I think the poster was "stevesdevilbunny", as I recall she was a real airhead.

SOMEONE ANSWERED as follows

Except that we all know the re-hashed Journey topics are just lame excuses so we can thread hi-jack!
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

Actually, shrimp are too small to throw on a barbie, they fall through the grill. But according to the Australian Tourism Board, Americans don't know what a prawn is.

It's a big ass shrimp, but unlike the shrimp the prawn is found in fresh water as opposed to salt water.

Hmmm, I guess I just outsmarted the Australian Tourism Board didn't I????

Sorry, prawns are most certainly salt water! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prawn

In the nicest possible way, fuck off :D  I don't take my species definitions from the FAOUN, let alone a website for curry recipes! :?
I've spent more than enough summers diving with marine biologists doing research on the damn things to know - prawns are predominantly salt water. There is a biological difference between prawns and shrimp, mainly to do with the gill structures and methods of egg laying, some other small differences to do with carapace structure in the abdominal segments. (If you really give a shit, the Museum of Victoria website gives a good, simple description here http://museumvictoria.com.au/crust/caribiol.html#svp.) There are many species of fresh water shrimp, but comparatively few fresh water prawns, and certainly none that are fished for in Australia.

In addition to that there is a difference in general use of the word 'shrimp' and 'prawn' between the US, Europe/Britain and Australia. US seems to use shrimp exclusively, regardless of size or species; UK/Europe refer to small shrimp AND prawns as 'shrimp' and larger ones as 'prawns' (or scampi); Australians use the word 'shrimp' for Carideans (i.e. shrimp) and 'prawns' for Penaeidae (which are the largest subgroup of Dendrobranchiata, which are the prawns)

I suspect you are thinking of yabbies, which are fresh water crustaceans (but neither shrimp nor prawns). Very tasty on a barbie though!

BTW - wikipedia is more reliable than the Encyclopedia Britanica.

Oh yeah - thread succesfully hijacked!

Because hijacking threads is fun!

Hell, I'd rather argue about something as dumb as the difference between a shrimp and a prawn, either biologically or by comparative linguistics, than something serious where people's opions and passions get inflamed like religion, politics or which Journey album was the best!

As for important things, I should be sleeping. Instead, I screw around on message boards as comic relief from finishing my damn assignments!

Put them on a metal skewer. Then place them on a barbie. A prawn is good to eat, but is not a shrimp. So I for one am one American who does know what a prawn is. Now do we get good ones here in Arkansas? NO! Sucks.

I call bullshit on this. I found a flaw in your post. If you were in mental rehab, you wouldn't be able to have a pair of scissors to cut out those newspaper clippings. So I conclude that your are not in mental rehab and are actual out running loose in the streets. Lock your doors, folks!

Good attention to detail, but I said I was put into rehab in care of myself. In My version of care you are allowed scissors, knives and cars with full tanks of gas with a garage. Because sometimes you just gotta say it is easier to say screw it than fix it. :D

There is no basket weaving in my rehab.
