40 days of rain? yeah, I'd say it applies. Good track too.

This one's a bit of stretch, but gotta get some Gramm crackin ...

standin' in the RAIN, with his head hung low. Couldn't get a ticket, it was a sold out show.

Harem Scarem; "Rain"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYgzZdaUpeM

feared the notion
I'd fall at your feet
And pour out my heart
And you'll leave forever
Severe emotions and dark memories
They all end the same
A nosedive endeavor

But angels did fly
And flooded boats sailed
To rescue my heart and pull out every nail
Things don't seem right

Also, Night Ranger's "Rain Comes Crashing Down".
Since I've fallen

I'm falling like rain
For everything about you
I find myself chained
Thinking I'm coming loose
It's everything about you
A deep devotion has washed on our sands
Took hold of our hands
And guides us forever
Holy water that some of us brave
They're poetic slaves
Drowned by their conscience

Angels did fly
The loneliness fails
To capture my heart and push in every nail
Things turn out right since I've fallen
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

Not me, no, just thought I'd register with this little known song from the 90s.

I guess jazzy is right, this tune is my rain and road song. Thanks for the welcome.
