Ironically enough I was listening to "No Son of Mine" driving home from her house in the rain.

The music fit the mood so well, haha.

Try listening to "Fortunate Son" next time around. Perhaps it will work out better for you

That reminds me, I haven't listened to CCR for awhile. I should toss them on later today.

Update:

The girl thought she had set her alarm (she decided to take a quick nap before we went out) but she forgot to click a button.... and overslept by two hours.

Girl proceeded to apologize profusely, and she made up for it last night by going on a random 10-hour road trip around the southern half of the state with me.... it was epic.

Thanks Rick. :D

I just never have energy anymore.. I work hard all day and sleep most of the PM... been watching too much news in my little free time.

Fallen out of some of my favorite habits, like playing/talking music. I'm trying to get back on the rails.

Always take time for yourself, that's very important. Take it from a 45 year old, life goes by in a blink.

Agreed - sometimes you've just got to make time to do the things you love, regardless. And good luck with this girl.
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!
