Let's knock it off with the Open Arms bashing. Its a great love long and the only time its not gay is when its being sung by SMFP, the only guy who should be singing that. Everyone else fucks it up.

And p.s. who the hell makes love to THAT?
Poor sex choice.

Listening to Open Arms during 'the act' would have the same effect as sticking your johnson in a bucket of ice cold water or being caught 'bashing one out' to catalogue pictures by your mum. Not that I would know of course!

That song is reverse Viagra!

No. I was 5.

I did play "you show me yours and I'll show you mine" with the little boy my age down the street, but there wasn't a record player nearby.

I think I was listening to "Beth" by Kiss when I played doctor with a girl named Jolynn from down the street. God, the 70's were awesome.

"Beth" was a great song, even though it was over in about 18 seconds! "Open Arms" will forever be a disgrace of a song, in spite of what Frito-Lay tells you. The song sucks, always has sucked, and always will suck!

The Japanese loved Kiss, so I had a friend give me basic lessons to playing Beth on a piano and organ. Most malls over there would have a piano in the center floor for show and sometimes have someone play it. I would casually wonder over and drop the first few notes of BETH on it and all these girls, dressed like Sailor Moon, would be on me like white on rice, yelling "Detloit lock City,Detloit lock city!"

Throw "Still they Ride" and "Faithfully" into the vomit bucket as well.
"Mother,Father" should have been the final single released from Escape instead of STR (which puts me to sleep). "Dead or Alive" is better than STR
"Faithfully" is artificial slop. Neil admitting he cried the first time he played it while Perry sang killed the tune for me. Toughen up Neil. Wuss.

Both of those tunes are awesome, especially "Still They Ride". It has one of the best solos ever, in my opinion, my second favorite next to "Hitch a Ride" by Boston.

I couldn't disagree with you more, on "Faithfully". I've always thought it was a timeless, classic song. To me, it's the one Journey song that has always sounded current. "Faithfully" has more soul to it in its first line than "Open Arms" has in the entire dreadful song. By the way, nice of your Devil Dogs to show up for the World Series! Hell, even the Red Sox could have sucked this bad!

Agreed (on the D-Rays comment).
A terrible showing. Starting pitcher-for-starting pitcher, the D-Rays match up much better, with the exception of Cole Hamels who is always lights-out. If they can't beat that f'n old geezer Jamie Moyer, they don't deserve to win. Nice of Blanton to make a showing this season at the time when they need him the most.
I wish the games would start at 4 am, so I could watch them from start to finish.
