saw them open for the Who. They came out and I was like "Holy crap, the dead live, the dead live!"
But they were decent.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

LOVE these guys- and FLY AWAY is a favorite of mine!
Saw them back in 92(?) right before Ricky Medlocke joined Skynyrd, in a club and they killed! Of course at that time it was Medlocke and 3 young dudes, but they rocked the house! Ricky Medlocke is one of the finest musicians, and personalities, ever to come out of the Southern Rock movement.

Blackfoot's guitarist in the 90's was Mark from Warp Drive. He just played my wedding reception in July. Great guy and absolutely fantastic guitarist and musician 8) He still occasionally plays shows with Ricky Medlocke

Here he is playing lead in 1994

Heard an interview one time where Ricky Medlocke said he was an original member of LS, then left to form BlackFoot. So his playing with them now was like a reunion of sorts.

Ricky started Blackfoot and then joined Lynyrd Skynyrd as their drummer. Then left to reform Blackfoot and did that up until 1996 or so and then reoined Skynyrd as their guitarist
