OT- RUSH LIMBAUGH APPRECIATION THREAD!

Postby brywool » Wed Oct 29, 2008 7:42 am

I evidently pissed off some of my friends here with my Anti-Rush comments.

Please, post your love for this brilliant human being right here.

Love ya all!
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

I don't listen to Rush much. He obviously has a loyal following. I just wish Rush would criticize the Republicans more when they deserve. Not after the fact like when they lost in 2006 and you said, "I'm glad I don't have to carry the water for them anymore." You lose credibility with statements like that. How can people believe what your saying.

Rush Limbaugh is a complete moron. His opinion is worth less than dirt.

I DESPISE Rush Limbaugh. He's -- never mind, don't get me started.
Let's just say no appreciation here. But you're funny, Brywool.

Guy is a scumbag, but I wouldn't call him a moron. He certainly isn't stupid. And remember, he is quietly paid by the republican party in addition to his radio gig, to push the "talking points." He will have a much more fun time when Obama wins. He will be able to slam him daily.

Just like Clinton, Obama will be good for business...for him. Then again, if they approve the fairness doctrine he may be S.O.L.

Oh yeah? Is that why Rush called Bush out on signing the "Campaign Finance" bill, the outrageous education bill, Bush being so damn eager to sign an "amnesty bill" and I'm sure many other things?
Nice first post.

Not sure how to do all the fancy quoting, but ok, if you say so. You really should do your homework before you spout off though.

Okay, giving you examples where he directly opposes Bush and the Republican party isn't homework enough for you.
Go ahead and post copies of the checks to Limbaugh from the RNC.

I've listened to Rush when I'm not busy at work. I like the fact that he gives the websites that he gets his information from and that gives me a chance to check it out. Most of the time I check out whatever I am hearing from whoever is talking. Mainly because they never give all the information just the pieces they want you to swallow and believe so I usually am sent on a search for the whole truth from as many different places as I can get it from. Then I decide for myself what to believe.

So "neutral and totally unbiased" is a prerequisite for a conservative talk show host? At least Limbaugh hasn't presented blatantly forged documents.

No, but 70-75% of the "facts" he quotes are, in fact, not actual facts or even "facts" but are, in fact, outright lies.
