I know this is bullshit, but I do think the video is pretty damn cool. It makes you think "what if"? Hope you enjoy it.

I think I remember Einstein saying that if you could travel 187,000 mi per second a person would not age. I don't think we will ever be able to travel the speed of light, but maybe that is who UFO's can travel to this gaxaly or accross the 100,000 light yr Milky Way.

If you meet up with yourself in the future, bad stuff happens. I try to avoid it as much as possible.

I think it works out to 25,000 years travel time to the nearest galaxy at the speed of light, so still not fast enough for a roadtrip. For the traveler, it would be a 2 second trip there and back, but 50,000 years would have elapsed here on earth.

I didn't vote yes, but that clip is pretty cool. Seems pretty legit. Guess you can 'prove' anything with video these days.

;)
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Hell, I can't see the clip at work... have to wait... but I voted no.

However, if it WERE possible... I'd be walking around in 1980 right now doing whatever (and maybe whoever) I had to do to get my ass into a Journey show.

I voted yes. I think it's very possible.
We just haven't figured-out how to do it yet...or realize that it's already being done.

I do too... I mean time travel? Come on.

But since we're fantasizing... if you had to side with a 'theory' on time travel, what would it be... ability to travel to any point in time and any place, Bill & Ted style, or travel in time only and be restricted to space, Back To The Future style?

I side with the Back to the Future theory because its the logical choice (as logical as it can be considering we're talking about jumping around in time... ). This throws a small crimp into my above stated 1980 Journey plans, but hell, they played here a lot back then so I'm sure I could find them.

So this is why you are so confident in playing the market, a little insider stuff going on, huh?

We're stuck in the now. Too bad...but excusable.
Things don't make sense to us because we don't yet know how to think about them.
Conventional wisdom cannot be applied to the future. There's no way we can say definitively what will or won't happen. We simply have to accept that anything is possible if we can't prove that it's impossible.

But isn't that the paradox? If we prove time travel a hundred years from now, then that means that it probably occurred a hundred years ago too. Think about it. That guy in the car next to you at the stop light may not be from here.

Would love to experience the 80s. That would be my "time travel" fantasy.

80-81

Escape (8track), Foreigner 4 (cassette), Hi Infidelity (LP), Paradise Theater (LP). Not too shabby for the beginning of the decade.
I had a portable 8track player ( A gift from Grandparents) like this, except mine was lima bean green, You could plug it in anywhere.

Here's a cool song about Time from Phil Keaggy.

Time
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sy8ZS8bxAuU

Says that God will stop time. Don't remember enough Bible to remember details about that.

Don't we all wish time travel were possible? Would be very cool to go to a specific time and place and change something (or play the right numbers on the lottery). :)

Of course if you've read "A Sound of Thunder" or seen "The Butterfly Effect", you might shy away from going back to change something in your past.
