OT AC/DC in Chicago

Postby RocknRoll » Fri Oct 31, 2008 3:04 pm

Just got back from the AC/DC show and it was really terriffic. The opening video and stage setup are unbelievable and have to be seen along with the closing performance. Even if the band were crap (which they were not), the stage was great. Guess they figured if the performance was off the show would make up for it. But not to worry, Brian Johnson can still siing at 61 and Angus can still play so both the new and old songs sounded great. Although Angus should not be running around without a shirt. It's really not a great sight. This band is definately not about looks.

All in all, one of the best shows I've been to even though you could tell it's early in the tour, so if you have an opportunity get those tickets.

Did they play Don't Stop Believin' before they came out to get the crowd pumped up?

They played unbelievable soft rock prior to coming out. :? :? The opening band was "The Answer" from Ireland and they were pretty good. I sorta expected to hear Don't Stop Believin" since Journey pysched up the crowd with AC/DC.

I had a 10th row center seat, but couldn't go because of softball playoffs. :(
