NEWEST RELEASE YOU'VE BOUGHT OR EXCITED ABOUT COMING OUT

Postby Jana » Fri Oct 31, 2008 2:43 pm

For me it's John Legend. No, it's not AOR. I'm a huge, huge fan of his and own all his music And his newest album, Evolver, is being released. He was just on Letterman and his new single was great. What's yours?

Nothing secret, just what everyone else here knows. I thought about your question and that's the one I'm looking forward to if it ever happens. Will be interesting to see what he comes up with after all this time away.

On a more realistic note, Lou Gramm's releasing a solo so that should be good.

Jimi Jamison's "Crossroads Moment" CD is coming out next week.

After that my main ones would be Steve Perry's album if it ever really does come out, and the next Journey album.

Oh, and Survivor are planning on doing another album. But I'll have to put that into the same wait and see category as the Perry album.

I don't think I have any more CDs/DVDs that I really want that haven't already been released. I am looking forward to seeing Metallica live in a few days if that counts? This time around, they included a free download of the show you attend for people that bought tickets from their fanclub presale deal. Journey needs to do something like that, although I know they never will.

Perry's mainly, but i would kill to hear another from White Sister after seeing them blow every band away at Firefest.

I would be happy with new Perry material even if it wasn't in the high key that he sang in 30 years ago, or even if he didn't go on tour. It would just be great to see him doing what he loved so passionately again: making great music for his fans.

I'm pretty much the most pessimistic regarding PD but if there's an album to get excited or look forward to, it'd be the one I least expect and this is it.

I'll bet it NEVER happens, not with any new material.

If Queen had a singer with any of Mercury's talent and sound, I'd be looking forward to that. If Rodgers went back to BadCo or The Law, it'd be that. But he didn't and won't so no go.

You'll see a Queen release with Freddie Mercury before you see that other one you mentioned.

(I would LOVE to be wrong though! :D And I'll happily eat my own pants if I am.)

It's hard to even imagine what an album from Perry will be like. It will be magic and wonderful or it won't be at all. Perry won't allow it to be less. I can't remember ever looking forward to an album more.

I'm excited to get Foreigner's next release, after being teased by "It's Too Late". Although the song gets very repetative, I like it. It's definitely got that signature Foreigner sound to it! Also would like to hear the new Valentine cd. Any new album from Genesis would get me grinning like a boy on Christmas morning!

Like the rest of you...I'd give my left nut (that's right, I said it!) for a new Steve Perry release. Lucky for my nuts, I don't think I'll have to worry about it any time soon!

Someone once referred to me as "sensual," I thought the lips fit that. Ironically, it was the same person that calls me Angel.

I should have been excited about Keane's third album released this month, but from the samples I've heard I'm not. :( I'll probably buy it anyway. And, not a new release, but I bought John West's CD "Earth Maker" three weeks ago and I can't stop listening...gorgeous voice - I'm in love. :)
