Only 1 vote per MR member should be allowed. Deano is not a part of this board any longer.

His membership is still active, he's just on an extended vacation. See, click here. :D

I think he should be reinstated immediately. I would venture to guess that most people want him back. Hell, the night the fucker logged in under my account the place was on fire. He's never at a loss for words...that's for sure. I was just disappointed that he got into it with 2 people that I have met and really like...Aaron and Journey/Survivor. :(

Just look at this poll as an exhibition game, Jana. It doesn't count in the standings anyway. Maybe Steve Perry is the only one who might be surprised by seeing the Rightward leaning of his fanbase.

Well, since he's never voted for a white liberal I'd say that he chose skin color over ideals.

This is what is so wrong with the mobs of people mindlessly following Obama. They can't say anything about his credentials to be President. All they have is "hope n' change", and "a young leader who is on the thresh-hold of being a leader".

"I never thought this day would ever happen. I won't have to worry about putting gas in my car. I won't have to worry about paying my mortgage."

People like this need to stop putting their faith in Government and start putting faith in themselves and in their own ability to better their lives.

Hmm, wonder how that very same tactic will make Obama lose thousands of votes on just the color of his skin?

If every black person voted for Obama, it would be a wash with the whites that would not vote for him because he's black.

Not nearly as many as blacks who are voting for him solely because of his skin color. Right now he's receiving 91-93% of the black vote. White people with any self respect will not vote for a guy that sat in a church that railed against white people for 20+ years. Unless of course you agree with his pastor that white people invented AIDS as a form of genocide against black people. It doesn't bother you that Obama didn't have a problem sitting in a pew for 20 years listening to that nutbag without objection? You think that sort of decision making is indicative of a guy ready for the presidency? Lastly, don't you think you should know when you're stepping into the house of a guy that blew up The Pentagon? And let's not forget that Ayers' wife was responsible for constructing a bomb that killed a police officer. I'm glad Obama found it appropriate to enter their house to kick off his senate run.

That's just disgusting. To think a guy that was smoking crack 8 years ago, sitting in the pews of a racist pastor for the last 20 years, having dinner with a guy that blew up The Pentagon, and toasting with people calling for an end to Israel, becoming president is absolutely sickening. Couple that with the fact that it took his gargoyle wife 40+ years to be "proud of her country" and it's hard to believe that people are voting for this piece of shit. You should be ashamed of yourself...along with millions of other Americans. I've known of Barack Obama for almost 15 years. He's attended sermons by Phleger and Wright for 2 decades and that church is 10 minutes from my house. He's an almost open racist and he hates America. I would suspect that his lone adoration in America lies somehere near Ayers' "Guilty as hell, free as bird...America is a great country" sentiment. Whether it's Frank Marshall Davis, Reverend Wright, Ayers or Rezko, Obama hasn't surrounded himself with one decent person over the last 25 or so years. And people are voting for this guy??? It's hard to believe...it really is.

I agree....the guy has zero experience, never served his country, his family has no legacy for helping build the country, etc. etc.

Again, say what you will about the man. The biggest knock against Obama is for sure his experience. Then again, winning the Democratic nominee against a Clinton(!!) in convincing numbers says a lot on where America needs to be and is ready for change. Plain and simple. The McCain campaign has little room to talk electing Palin as a Vice Presidential candidate, who would have a serious shot at being President! The thought of that just makes me want to diarrhea.

And for the people who say McCain is a better canidate who has experience fighting wars and for his country. Yes, he is respected for that and ALWAYS will be. To do what he has done says wonders about a person. With that said..that doesn't mean he would be the right choice to lead America. Two different policies. If it didn't work for Kerry back in '04, it sure as hell wouldn't work for McCain in '08! Not only that, he will always have the shadow of Bush lingering. Not good.

And just who exactly was McCain defending us from while dropping napalm at 10000 feet?
As the scion of a millitary family, McCain def. served his country, but there's nothing patriotic about Operationg Rolling Thunder.
If anything, it shows he's good at taking orders.

Okay..you made your point.. the point is..noone knows.. but you made it. Okay, big fucking deal. What does that have ANYTHING to do with him leading this country as President of the United States? If anything, it shows the man has made it through some tough times and we all know that dealing with family issues as did Obama, makes a person unique in their own right. It proves that the guy can handle some tough mental issues, and I respect that.

As for Obama with Ayers. Alright , we get it. Talk about BLOWING SOMETHING OUT OF PORPORTION? Obama was what? 8 years old when this all took place? Listen..it's politcs. EVERY POLITIC has dirty laundry, and sooner or later needs to be partnered with some person that one other doesn't approve of. WHO KNOWS WHO BUSH HAD TIES TO THAT WE DON'T KNOW ABOUT.

If in-experience is the greatest knock against Obama, I'll take that over ANY BUSH DRIVEN PRESIDENCY and TIES this country has seen way too often from last campaign.

All he needs is a goddamn chance.

It has a lot to do with it and here's why. While Obama the millionaire was climbing the political ladder, the Aunt he so affectionately talked about in his book was, and still is, living as an illegal alien in a Boston slum. His 1/2 brother lives in a shithole hut in Nairobi on $1 a month.

If Obama truly believed in wealth redistribution, he could have GREATLY assisted the relatives he so fondly talked about in his book who truly need help, all the while still maintaining a posh life style for himself & family.

For these reasons alone, he's a hypocrite beyond belief. The only wealth redistribution he believes in is redistributing other peoples wealth.

That mentality is typical of Obama's high profile supporters too on other hot button issues like global warming. Hollywood's' elite phoning in interviews to the media about the perils of global warming and the evil conservatives killing the planet, all from the comfort of their Gulf Stream V jet at 30,000 feet.
