BETTER LATE THAN NEVER | FRONTIERS DISCS

Postby Jeremey » Tue Nov 04, 2008 8:09 am

Just as a note, my apologies for taking a few weeks on these. The requests with physical addresses for the CDs have gone out today. It took a while longer as I ended up burning a total of about 40 discs and I didn't want anyone to feel left out that weren't in the first 10 to ask.

This is a recording of an August show in Roanoke. I never did get the soundboard recording from the Atlanta show I mentioned, but we'll be back in Atlanta in a few weeks so I may get a copy then.

Anyway, it's not the best quality but I wanted to get these out there & those of you that can be sure to burn and share. Most importantly, come support Frontiers when we are close by! We promise you that you will walk out of the show a satisfied Journey fan.

If anyone wants a copy and didn't ask Jeremey feel free to PM a mailing address and I'll send you a copy. Sort of a "pay it forward" thing since Jeremey was nice enough to send me the 2 discs.

Jeremey - you sound great on the live Journey covers that are on your site. They sound much cleaner than the stuff you had on YouTube a while back. If Arnel wouldn't have came out of nowhere, you would have done a great job singing for Journey. You do a great job nailing Perry's unique smooth/bluesy high tenor. I don't even think Arnel nails it quite like you do.

Has anyone else noticed that? Check out "Send Her My Love" on his MySpace page:

Good stuff man!

Thanks for everyone's interest! WM90, I'll look up that date for you later today, I know it was August something.

I've been covered up with a couple of new songs this week I know everyone is really going to enjoy, so as soon as I have something worth sharing I will.

Thanks again all...

Artwork

Postby steve7711 » Mon Nov 10, 2008 1:52 pm

Thanks for the discs Jeremey. They are simply great. I live in Kennesaw, Georgia and the group played here for our July 4th (3rd?) celebration this past summer. I gave out quite a few copies this weekend to some happy folks. I made some artwork for it if anyone is interested. I think I got the date and venue right based on your past posts and the fact that at the end of the night you said good night to Salem three or four times. If it's wrong I'll redo it. Again...thanks again for the recording. Awesome!!!

Cheers,

Steve

Glad you liked it. I redid the front booklet. I like it better now. Looking forward to seeing you guys again soon. If I can slide out of work, my buddy's & I will try to get to Andrew's Upstairs next week. It's just harder to do those late shows with little kids at home waiting up for you. Thanks again for the discs. They will get quite a bit of play for a good long time. Keep rockin'.

Cheers,

Steve
