Why did it took so long to find someone who could play the guitar?
Tony (singer of Another journey):
It was hard to find someone in the Netherlands who knows all about Neal Schon.
We found out after a few guitarist auditions that it`s hard to explain a guitar player how to play the way Neal does.
If we would try to play with someone who plays the guitar very well but didn`t know anything about Neal Schon it would take months to get the job done.

How did you find Jeroen Kleij the new guitarplayer?
Tony (singer Another journey):
I think it was in August 2008 that a friend phoned our bassplayer Piet Kramer and said that he heard we needed a guitarplayer who new all about the way Neal Schon plays.
He said there`s a guy in Haarlem who is a big fan of Neal Schon and playes just the way Neal does.
We did get his phonenumber gave him a call and he couldn`t believe there was a dutch journey tribute band.
He never heard about us but was very pleased to give this a try.

So Jeroen Kleij is the best choice for Another Journey?
Tony (singer Another journey):
Well after the second rehearsel things went just great and everybody in the band felt that this guy (J.K)has the sound and the feel of Neal Schon.
We feel reborn and sound better than before.
My brother Jeroen Vendel who was our guitarplayer in Another journey is also a great Neal Schon imitator but had some problems with his left hand and became Father for the first time in his life.
He said that he wouldn`t be the handbreak in this band and hoped we could find a good replacement for his part in Another journey.
We hope he`s a good father for his little girl and wish him all the best in the future.

Where is the first gig in Holland this year?

The first gig is in the south east part of Holland.
In a place called HELDEN (north Limburg)

At 20:00 the doors are open.
We hope that the place will be crowded with people from Netherland ,Germany and Belgium.
