OT - Michael Bormann

Postby S2M » Sat Nov 15, 2008 6:09 am

I'd like to suggest this guy for people to check out. Michael has fronted many great groups inclding: BISS, Charade, Rain, Redrum, The Sygnet, Letter X, and most importantly - JADED HEART.

Jaded Heart and Bormann have released 6 CDs(8 if you count the 2 from the new singer). INSIDE OUT, MYSTERY EYES, IV, TRUST, THE JOURNEY WILL NEVER END, and SLAVES & MASTERS.

I've been listening to Jaded Heart (and Michael) since Mystery Eyes came out. My "European boyfriends" turned me on to them long ago.

I believe Michael has 3 solos out now -- all sounding great BTW -- and I just found the Charade stuff, although I haven't listened to much of it yet. I've never been able to see them perform (since they're from Germany), but I'm told that Jaded Heart used to "out-Bon Jovi" Bon Jovi!

My favorite JH albums are: IV, THE JOURNEY WILL NEVER END (just love "Drag You Down"!), and SLAVES & MASTERS. One of my European boyfriends wore a JH T-shirt to MR Fest. 8)

Yep, that'd be me.

Oh, and let's not forget about everyone's favorite session guitarist: Tommy Denander! I swear that man plays on practically everything!

Jaded Heart is one of my favorite bands, although I hate the way they screwed Bormann over. He is the one who STARTED the band and they basically took over the name and left him out of it. The new stuff isn't bad, but it's NOT JH without Bormann
