You could say the same thing about the greedy bankers and Wall St. executives.

Exactly. Let's just hope the rest of us don't get fucked over it.

the CEOS need to stop rading the money at 10million dollar a year salaires and the penisions need to be cut off after 10- 15 years of retirement. none of this 30 to 40 years of payouts...
thats crazy...same with govt pensions...

P.S I wouldn't want to wish any ill on the state of Michigan ( I have family that lives there) , but as far as the Wolverines go, I 'd be perfectly happy to see them NEVER have a winning season during the 21st century. The only good thing about the Wolverines in my book is that theyre not the Badgers ! :D

Agree about Teddy….the rest made me laugh!!

This team will be back sooner than later and will be a powerhouse that will make most peole think this season was just a bad dream. Ive said that all season and you can still mark my words. Oh, and Im laying a couple of bets down for Michigan over Ohio State. I believe.

Totally agree. The unions may have been necessary early last century when low-tech working conditions sucked, but today they're a joke. Think I read where the UAW costs consumers 10% of every sale. Why?

College sports perhaps. Then again throw in the drunk college students along with the alumni with memories and that could make it the best rivalry. I was going to say Bear/Packers, White Sox/Cubs, and/or Red Sox/Yankees.

Sorry...not even close. The OSU vs. UofM rivalry is as BIG as it gets! Anyone with even a "passing" understanding of the game would have to agree.

Pro sports cannot compare, IMO.

Bears Packers

You have NO CLUE about which you type.

But, that's ok...all can have an opinion. Even if yours is incorrect.

Agreed here, but there are other college rivalries that are just as good, if not better.

Stanford/Cal
USC/UCLA
Texas/Oklahoma
Alabama/Auburn
Army/Navy
Yale/Harvard

and of course,
Southern/Florida A+M

OK...go ahead and name ONE.

None of the above even are on the same "radar screen" as OSU / Michigan.

Sorry.

Oh ok. You have a shitty Michigan team playing a team that SC beat by 5 touchdowns. I would assume that many more will watch that shitfest rather than any other games this weekend. Livin off the past is pathetic. The BCS should never allow Ohio fucking State to ever play in a BCS championship game and they won't have to worry about Michigan because they will never get there.

Now, I agree that in the past, this game was big, like Nebraska and Oklahoma, but now it's pure shit. 3 yds and a cloud of muddy snow and a bunch of tards scampering around-one team with a refuckindiculous looking helmet that looks like a mass transit system designed by Ray Charles or Stevie Wonder, or even Ronnie Milsap, and the other team's gray lids with fuckin cotton follies glued to their domes. How gay is that shit? Yeah, I will be mesmerized watching a Michigan team that loses at home to those powerful Mountaineers of Appalachian State or those Goddamned polygamists of Utah, called the Utes. The fucking Utes rolled into Ann Arbor and did them in their own crib. Congratulations Michigan. And Ohio State, please at least compete before you travel to SC and get rolled by 5 touchdowns on national TV. The Big Ten would be the Pig Ten if not for Penn State.

Case closed.

Yale/Harvard? Come on. Do they throw books at each other? Celtics/Lakers was more 80s I would say plus that's cross country. I think to have it that heated you have to be somewhat geographically close.

As recent as 2006, the OSU / Michigan game pitted #1 vs. #2. Please, don't try and "marginalize" a great great rivalry with your ignorant "hand picked" recent outcomes in a few big games. It is really tired.

Please, read and understand the true statistics involved here (see link below). Then, perhaps you can participate in an "intelligent" debate. What you are doing now is just embarrassing yourself.

You fucking Big Ten fans crack me up. Ok, you win. We all bow down to a rivalry that is the "greatest" because you all say it is. Whatever.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to watch Florida v LSU or LSU v ALA, or even BC and ND in the "Last Supper" game. Bunch of fuckin Catholics running around praying to Field Goal Jesus and Safety Mary. I want to watch something exciting, not something that every year is boring as watching paint dry.

If you'd simply follow the link I sent you (you can read...correct?), you would see that it is NOT simply "Big 10" folks saying this. ESPN.com conducted a poll of the GREATEST RIVALRIES OF THE 20TH CENTURY and guess who won?

Deal with it.
