will not be returning to Notre Dame next season. That dude's as good as gone. Not only is he a horse shit coach, but I'm told that the boosters can't stand him and they run that school. That lardass fleeced that school and will get paid for many more years even after they fire him.

ND needs to join big ten... look what it did for Penn Sate...
then big ten can divide the conference and have 6 teams in each division
and have playoff game to finish the season and not have 6 weeks off.

its the reason Ohio State or Penn State have a hard time in the BCS bowls... no games for 6 weeks before those games is a killer..

Penn State has an incredible bowl record and I think OSU just wasn't nearly as good as the teams they've played.

Notre Dame hasn't been a relevant program in eons. While Weis has proven to be a failure as a head coach, it hasn't seemed to matter who they bring in. Notre Dame doesn't seem to understand that the kids who are 18 and ready to sign a letter of intent aren't caught up in the hype of a program that once was. Notre Dame has sucked for most of their life, and they simply have no reason to want to join a losing program. Until they figure out how to recruit, they will continue to suck!

Will never happen. Notre Dame's not going to give up their exclusive broadcast contract with NBC. Plus, they like the freedom of scheduling that comes from being an independent. Gives them more nationwide exposure to be able to play teams from all over the country whenever they want.

They should talk to Florida's AD to get some tips on scheduling Division IAA stiffs like Citadel! Perhaps then, they could actually put a respectable season together.

Why? The Big Ten is a fucking joke. At least Penn State made it interesting this year so Ohio State wouldn't weasel it's way into the Nat'l Championship game to get embarassed again.

As a lifelong Irish fan, I'm not opposed to ND joining a conference, just anything but the freaking Big Ten.

While this year and next year have pretty light schedules (which isn't helping cover up the fact they royally suck this year), I do think ND being an independent keeps things interesting, since about half the games each season are different from year to year. The rivalries with Michigan, USC are great, and if they want to keep playing Navy and Purdue till the end of the earth, fine, but it's fun to see a fresh schedule every year instead of the same 8 or 9 conference games every season.

As for Weis...I think he's lost his team. There is a lot of talent there. They were winning by double digits in the losses to Pitt, NC and Syracuse well into the second half, and their late-game collapses didn't seem to be from fatigue, they just became complacent, and while I had to blame the coach for a team's problems, I feel that specific problem is firmly in Charlie's hands. I really thought after the NC and Pitt losses the single most important message to his players would be they had to play the entire game like they were fighting for their lives...obviously he failed to get that message across.

you are full of shit man. Ive tried to ignore your shit filled posts directed at Florida but you just wont let it go and Im guessing its all due to your jealousy of the program and the fact that Florida teams are PUNKING your NE teams asses this year and I hope the Dolphins beat the Pats ass again today. And lets not forget what the Rays did to your beloved and overrated Red sox. Florida has played one patsy this year and that was yesterday. The rest of our schedule has been ranked as one of the toughest in the country plus we have to play in the SEC. Your remark shows how much you really know about the Gator program. You are an outsider looking in with glasses painted an envious color. Go blow tom bradys knob some more. They should talk to bellichik to find out how to cheat to win football games.

Go blow a fucking gator, you fucking dope! I can assure you that I'm not remotely "jealous". If I ever were to have any envy over another state's sports teams, it would never be that abortion of a state that Florida is! They have the absolute WORST fans in the country, and always have! Half the fucking blue hairs in that state don't know if a football is full of air or stuffed with feathers. I can assure you that there aren't a whole lot of people wishing that their teams could only be as good as what the state of Florida puts out. Give me a break with that shit. Any time you want to compare championships, let me know, dickwad! I'll let you count every championship trophy that every team (including college) has won in the entire state. Let's see if it even adds up to what the Celtics have won! As I've stated on this board on more than one occasion, I think college football is a joke! You are such a fucking retard fanboy, that you're the one with the non-sensical posts. Take the Florida dildo out of your ass and get a fucking life, loser! Maybe if you're really nice at the next game, Tebow will let you be his date at the after party

Weiss can get a stay of execution next week if he beats U$C.
I want it to happen actually.

I couldn't disagree more. I think Weiss likes recruiting slow white guys that are projected "blue chippers" because they play in weak catholic high school leagues and they're subsequently exploited when they play the much more physical, faster college game. Weiss hasn't recruited worth a fuck.

As ham-handed as his career there has been so far, I DON'T agree w/ canning him this early. Same w/ Dick Rod up in Anne Arbor, these guys need time, at LEAST 4-year cycles to build, it's criminal how quick some coaches get canned now.

13, he's gotta go. He's been there for 4 years and the program is in shambles. His first recruiting class couldn't fucking beat Syracuse at home on senior day!!! Adios, lardass Weiss. He's done, dude.

Tom, I heard that you're one of Charlie's blue chippers from Hawaii for next year's recruits. He's also recruiting Dog The Bounty Hunter's son Leland to play free safety. He likes his speed from what he's seen on their TV show.
