I absolutely said that. After watching Matt Cassel play this past preseason, most of the talk was that the Patriots were going to cut the guy. He was fucking DREADFUL in the pre-season. He has played FAR better than I thought he was ever capable of playing. I never have claimed to be "right" about anything. I offer my opiinion, and if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I'm glad to be wrong about it, and I'm fairly certain that nobody else predicted a whole lot of success out of Cassel either, considering that nobody outside of New England even knew the guy's name, before Brady's knee got snapped. I'm still fairly confident that the Patriots' defense won't allow them to get beyond the first round of the playoffs (if they get there)!

By the way SJ...I also guaranteed you that the Patriots were beating Miami this weekend, so let's not act like all of my predictions are wrong! So much for Tim Tebow's gay lover running his mouth about the Patriots being "punked". Although, being from Miami...Home of Thug University, he probably knows a whole lot about punks

Contrary to what you think, I could give a fuck what you or anyone else on this, or any other internet board thinks about me. There isn't a single person here who knows me, personally, so those opinions mean absolutely nothing to me! I can also assure you that the people on this board who don't like me are people that I'm not overly fond of either. I've never once claimed to be "the smartest motherfucker on this board". This is my last acknowledgement that you even exist. I have far better things to do than match wits with a middle aged guy who still thinks he's in college. I've read your drunken, idiotic ramblings on this board, and from that, I can deduce that you are a fucking LOSER, who is probably an alcoholic! I'm sure your family is really proud when they read your shitfaced ramblings on the internet. You can respond with whatever you'd like, but I will not engage you in any further dialogue. See ya jackass!

And dont bring my family into this..I never ONCE did that to you asshole. Thats a lowlife move.

Never did that. I merely pointed out 2 predictions gone bad. The guy is starting to put up Brady type numbers now that he knows the offense. And for the record, you did make me put an extra $100 on the Pats. Thank you.

That's your opinion. I don't agree. If college football continues to allow humans (who are not players) and computers determine who their champion will be, none of the other stuff matters. They need to lose their overtime system as well, along with the NFL!

I know in your world you're right and the rest of us are dopes, but shockingly enough, that's all your opinion too. The BCS system sucks, I'll be the first to admit that - as an Ohioan who doesn't like OSU and is tired of the Buckeye fanboys/girls, I would LOVE to see a playoff system. OSU doesn't get anywhere near those atrocious national championship games with one.

But, shitty title determination notwithstanding, college football has great athleticism, drama, excitement, atmosphere etc. that I (and I'd venture to say most fans) really embrace. I can't think of a single sport I watch just because I only care about who the national/world champ is eventually going to be. Shit, if I catch an exciting Mid-American Conference game on TV that's going down to the wire, that shit will have me on the edge of my seat.

If you're letting the crappy BCS title determination system keep you from watching great sport, then hey, more power to you I guess.

And I liked your avatar so much...but,

Why the "hatred" for OSU?!!

It is what it is...they made the last two championship games FAIR AND SQUARE. They lost both. It happens. Get over it. They are still a VERY GOOD football program and will again challenge for the National Title...it's only a matter of time.

Get used to it.

Luke rocks, btw.

I have some personal reasons for not rooting for OSU. Other than that, I just get tired of Ohioans thinking I'm a dick just cuz I don't feel it's my obligation to root for a school just because they happen to be the most prominent athletic university in my home state. I have no ties to the school, I didn't go there, and they fucked my uncle and my dad over a long time ago with athletic scholarships, and more recently, my girlfriend.

It's definitely a fun place to go visit though, especially on game days. I was just up there for the Michigan State weekend. I just have no reason to root for them. I don't typically root AGAINST them either, if that makes you feel better. It was sad to watch both of those national championships though. The Florida game was a choke - that was a very good team they lost to, but all the big players on that very good OSU team clammed up in a big way. Last year they were just plain outclassed and really didn't have much of a chance from the get-go.

BTW, do you live in Ohio? If so, where?

One of only 5 QBs to do that, too. Not too shabby.

Add to this that I am beating his ass in Fantasy Football...Unfortunately, my team hasn't looked very good in recent weeks.

Don't live there anymore. Was born, raised, went to school there (TOSU, of course), and will forever be a "Buckeye". It gets in your blood, I suppose...especially when you attend the university like I did.

I would agree on the UF game 2 years ago. Seriously though, they weren't "in the game" like Florida was. They figured they would "waltz" in and win...especially after the EPIC win against Michigan. UF came in VERY "hungry" and was definitely the BETTER team on that particular night. No question.

As for LSU...the Buckeyes had a much more "fire" and competitiveness in that game...and were it not for a BUNCH of BIG TIME blunders and penalties...might have won it. However, momentum means so much in big games like that and LSU siezed it and ran away with the game. Very sad, dissappointing night for me as a fan of Ohio State. But, hey that's life.

Would agree about the great party atmosphere at TOSU...very fun indeed!
