I agree. Right now I''m only interested in seeing Arnel singing live with Journey. I believe thje cancellation of the mini-tour and now that Arnel is healthy the opportunity to appear on major TV (not some Boy show) were a big mistake. The sales of Revelation obviously show that. Now would be the time to make a push before the holidays.
Oh Well!!I'm glad AP is making a name for himself in PI.

I agree on posting any more covers. It's overkill. He's the lead singer of Journey now.
But I disagree on cancelling the mini tour being a mistake. Arnel performed - I can't remember - almost 70 shows this year singing a hard catalogue of music. He was operating on empty by the end, but he pulled it off beautifully. They have a huge concert schedule next year with an added Asian tour plus the regular European and U.S. tour and probably some shows in Chile. So I think he deserves some rest and time with family, as is true for all the other guys in the band too.

I agree, this year was tough of AP for his first time out. I'm just saying there are a lot of missed opportunities out there for the band Journey which could impact the 2009 tour and have impacted the sales of Revelation. AP sounds healthy now and is certainly busy making appearances.
I'm sure the band is planning the 2009 tour with a lot of breaks to keep well rested.

I actually love the Boz Scaggs one, great audio and up close and a song I had never heard him do. His voice sounded great. But many that I keep seeing are poor audio and bad angles, and to me they don't do Arnel justice. I've probably just watched way too many videos of him doing covers on YouTube and I'm burned out on them. But that's just me.

It's time for Arnel to make his own waves in the world. Everytime I see covers being sang by him now it takes something away from what he has accomplished with Journey. Everyone knows his past but it keeps coming back and is starting to wear thin for some, me especially.

I agree! That got him to where he is, now he's the lead singer for Journey and people need to let it go!
