He might have been a good guy to Tito (but I'll submit, Friga could have given Tito a proctal exam with a glue covered fist dipped in broken glass, and Tito would love him for it)....

I wouldn't let him do that to me. And he wouldn't do it either.

strangegrey wrote:he might be one of th better family men in Journey. I'll submit, when you compare Friga to Neal "mr family values" Schon, Fro makes Friga look like dad of the year....hell, Fro would make Alec Baldwin look like dad of the year.

Regardless of Neal's parenting skills and I think he's done ok as evidence by a Miles Schon, Jon Cain is a wonderful family man. I bet when he's on the road after a show, he goes up to his room and watches the Golf Channel and falls asleep. If he's guilty of anything, he may be too boring for some. But, I don't think he is.

strangegrey wrote:...but I still think that he has conducted himself in the music business (and there's sufficient evidence to support such a claim) with pure disdain. He's climbed the ladder on knive handles sticking out of the backs of people he stepped on to get where he is.

....but I'll submit that it's hard for me to enjoy listening to someone I know has stabbled others in the back (and even harder knowing that he did the stabbing so that he can be playing on my CD player instead of someone else).

What evidence? He has conducted himself as good as anybody and he is a survivor of this nasty business.

Like who? Who has he stabbed in the back. I want names.

strangegrey wrote:I'm not on here every day bashing Friga and Fro...well, Fro deserves it....but come on...Tito's vag flapping about how Friga is the bastion of goodness is nauseating......there needs to be some checks and balances here...

The hell you're not. Just look at your sig for starters. Plus, I came on MR in the first because of all the bashing Cain, Schon, and Journey took. I'm the one doing the balancing.

Good day.
You know you would let Friga put thing in your butt,He doesnt go to his room and watch the golf{fucked up sport} he watchs his tranny cds he keeps in his little brown sack

we've been down this road before. Evidence of good parenting is not obtained by children....because sometimes perfectly good parents raise axe murderers and shitty parents raise good people....Neal's a jive motherfucker....if you don't want to believe it, go ahead. You're also lying to yourself if you claim you wont let Friga fist you wearing a broken glass glove. You know you want it....it's ok. admit it...

As for your claim that Cain is a wonderful family man...fuck that. You need to show proof, fucker. Because he's working on his second wife? Sorry...last I checked, you're a good family man when you don't let the first one fall apart....

Yep...he's a survivor alright. Go ahead and ask every former Journey singer...ask herbie....ask some former roadies. The fucking guy has *not* conducted himself 'as good as anybody'...unless anybody is a euphemism for the lowest common denominator of music busines, don-henleyesque trash.

Balancing my ass. with your fucking appreciation threads day in and day out, the vag-burping about how friga's a good family man...come off it dude.

Friga's lyrics ARE gay. Am I bashing liberachi if I say he was gay? How about Walt Whitman? George Takai proudly takes it up the keister and bites into his bedpost to dull the sensation....if I said "Hey Sulu, you're gay" he'd probably turn around and go "Why yes I am! Thank You!"

I call a spade a spade. Friga writes gay lyrics....that "there's no I in team" lyric is as gay as a poo-stained love pole. Whether or not he's proud of the gayness his lyrics exude, is not my problem...it's his. I can't push him out of the closet...He needs to take the first step....

He needed to get rid of the first one. Do you know who she is. She was bad news and he paid for that. I will give you this he may have been blinded by the Hollywood lights on that one. Then again, it did inspire a major hit/signature song for the band. Was it worth the price? The one he has now is the right one. Long, successful, wonderful marriage. A great family life he has right now. Good man. Over 50% of marriages fail, he is at least in line with the odds or doing slightly better.

The first singer was the bad guy and still is. The second one was good and I believe they are still friends, unfortunately he can't go anymore. The third one was temporary and the current one he takes care of. He is a mentor for Arnel.

Herbie had issues with him when he first started. JC played a little hardball at first, mostly do to Wife #1. That was the problem. Since then not much of an issue. He probably saw how Herbie was and didn't want to be walked over so he had to be a little tough at first.

Never talked to a roadie of Journey but I've never heard of any bad things either.

I only did 6 appreciation threads and those were promptly stopped by board management several months ago. I only did those in response to the bashing he/they took. Jeremey confirmed Cain was a good family man and most grounded of the band.

Cain's lyrics create hit songs, hell, legendary songs. He's one of the greats.
