And of all the loud-mouthed, cursing, blowhards on this page that post personal attacks on people all of the time and contribute nothing but negativity, you really think I'M the one that needs to go away?

If I'm doing something wrong by posting what I've been told, or if I'm breaking any forum rules, I'm sorry, but I didn't think it was against any rules to do so, just because what I've heard is different than what you've been told.

Hey Splashman, what you don't understand is that the people that have been here for even a little while, have been through this too many times to count. Rumors that SP is recording or going to put out a record. So, on most of us, it's tiring to continue to hear this stuff, only to be later told that it was just a rumor and there's nothing going on. So if you're not feeling all the love in the world with respect to your announcements, then hopefully, you'll understand why we're so skeptical. It's the same old song and dance that's been posted over and over, week in and week out. Once you've been here long enough to see what I'm talking about, I think you'll completely understand.

I totally understand that. But just because something is talked about for 10 years and doesn't happen, that doesn't mean it can't happen in the 11th year. It has no bearing on the future, but I do understand the gun-shyness.

I imagine that from 1987 to 1996 it was probably rumored over and over that there would be a Journey reunion and people got tired of hearing it after several years and gave up, and then BAM! it happened. I understand the reluctance, but am completely confident in what I've been told.

If I'm wrong, I'll sadly admit it, but right now "Somewhere There's Hope" and somewhere is here. I'll stand by my recently almost trademarked 2 word phrase....................

Dude, believe me, everyone here hopes you are right. But Andrew is almost never wrong. He's run this site for a long time and his info is always spot on. We'll keep hoping though.
