i understand wanting to discuss what you hope may (or may not) happen or what you think some possibilities are, but what's with the competition over announcing something you don't know much about?

I agree... I don't mind someone dropping what they feel to be positive news, but it actually hurts them to get defensive or challenging about it. People would have a much better chance of winning friends here if they'd just relax now and wait like the rest of us.

No, I've never been a Steve Perry fan per say, more of a Journey fan. I thought the dude was gay up until the Oh Sherrie video and even then, I wasn't sure.

Fan Asylum ran the old Journey fan club, too. SPIN came later. Lora and Cyndy kept us up on everything. They also dealt with all our mail, and calls. They did a whole lot for the fans, then and now. I did not think you were a part of it all. I can tell you it was fun. I lived for the newletters. Those two gals did it all.

I have ultimate respect for both ladies. No one would have tolerated anyone dissing them in the past. I am not saying you are Gunbot. But I have heard some not so nice comments their way.
