Sheena Easton - Foolish Heart

Postby Duncan » Sun Nov 30, 2008 6:51 am

I wasn't aware that Sheena had covered this track. it is a bit of a yawnfest to be honest but may be of passing interest to some.

I never liked this song but it's one saving grace was that Perry was singing it.

Our consensus was that Arnel needs to have that video pulled from Youtube out of respect for Steve Perry.

Has anyone heard the "Rare live" version of Foolish Heart by Perry that isn't him? Its actually pretty good, but I don't know who it is. I found it on Lime Wire.

Maybe it's Kelty. that dude sounds more like Perry than even Steve does.
On a side note, the girl from Atlantic Star does the best cover of that song. Pure soul performance.

Check out Corey Clark on youtube, American Idol 2003. Maybe he's the guy?

Ya, it is kinda a depressing song, I had to quit playing it because I always had the urge to shove toothpicks under my finger nails.

perhaps he was talented enough to do justice to the song but the man's life has steadfastly gone downhill since that time. too bad; his style was quite similiar to the DeBarge musical group but...same style same story. nevermind.
