PAT BUCHANAN??
OMG.
Where's the emoticon with the swastika? Can't stand that guy.
Sorry Tito.

I've already awarded Tito with an SS Lapel in the the political thread.

You guys are so unfair. Why the hate? What did I do? And what did Pat do?

I don't hate you Tito. Think you're funny.
But Buchanan is such a hateful jerk. I quit listening to him about 10 years ago, so I don't know where he's at now, but he was a complete creep and I couldn't believe anyone would side with the guy. It's been a long time, so maybe he's a different dude now. Seemed very Rush Limbaugh (a COMPLETE douche)

Pat was right.

Agreed.. Excellent book.

Another good book is the Thirteenth tale by Diane Setterfield.

TRYING to get through "The Historian". As I feared, it's The Dracula Code. The book is maddening in it's inclusion of irrelevant material. God, get to the point already. I'm on page 700 and it's really tedious...

Sorry, but the Thirteenth Tale blew.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

A mystery with a twist, a little bit decadent, crime drama.

Currently reading "Double Cross" by James Patterson (not that y'all care... )

I got hooked on the Alex Cross series about 12-13 years ago... I can never put them down!
Have to read it so I can get the new one!

Favourite book I've read recently is Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates. The movie based on it is out very soon I think. No idea how good that'll be - it's directed by Sam Mendes who directed American Beauty - but the book is great.

Another one I really liked is Lunar Park by Bret Easton Ellis...very Gothic...and his best book by miles....

Also - I'm halfway through World War Z by Max Brookswhich is a a winner so far...if you're into zombies, that is.
