The guy is genius. Two greatest comics ever, Robin Williams and Richard Pryor.

Jerry Seinfeld can buy and sell both of them(Pryor's estate) 50 times over.

I like both of them, but Jerry was is more creative without resorting to cursing for most of the laughs, and he's not a coke-head, like both of them are/were.

Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David are the 2 most creative comics ever, and Carlin is 3rd.

Jerry Seinfeld is about as funny as a rubber crutch in a Polio war. I'll give you David, but Seinfeld is just plain boring.

Seinfeld is great, love him, but Robin Williams blows him away, in my opinion. He's just a comedic genius. You did bring to mention the one thing that turns me off about him, and that's the overuse of profanity. I cuss, don't get me wrong, but his crude overuse of it, for some reason, is a negative in my opinion. Richard Pryor on the other hand, probably uses more profanity than Willams, Carlin and all others put together, but it doesn't bother me. I guess because I expect it from Pryor and not so much from Williams. Not sure.

I watched a Dave Chappelle stand up routine that had me in tears a few weeks ago. He reminds me of Pryor in that he's funny, but he's also fucking nuts!!!

I don't believe Seinfeld is one of the greatest comics ever, but he's funny. My brother saw him about five years ago or so, and said he was fantastic, funnier than he expected. I loved Seinfeld the TV show, though.

Regarding Madsplash's comment about Seinfeld buying and selling them 50 times over, that's off of Seinfeld's TV show, which is where he made his money. I'm talking standup, and Robin Williams is absolutely brilliant in standup or even interviews on late shows on TV he's hysterical. Williams was a little off the last few years, but it looks like he's back and better than ever. He's appearing in Florida next year on his tour.
