Yep, agreed. Very good game, they were a tough opponent.

They should've been tougher.....Fla. outplayed them HUGE!!!

Sorry BB.....Bama is a great team, better than they played today!!!

BIG CONGRATS TO SG, xflajrnylvr and all Fla. Fans.....AWESOME GAME!!!!

I disagree. I don't think they got outplayed huge one bit. It was pretty much evenly matched. Yeah Bama lost by 11, but it came down to 1 or 2 drives, and that's the way a football game is meant to be played. Bama had their way with Florida's run defense and I thought Florida got thrown around. Tebow consistently kept them in the game with his legs. Coaching got the best of Saban and going for a fake FG with the way the defense was playing is a no-no and it came back to bite him in the long run.

That's why you play 60 min. Bama controlled all game but the 4th Qrt and having negative yardage was the back breaker.

Coming from a Vols fan, seeze, what a year we've had , 2 great teams played today but the best team won...CONGRATS GATORS!

So, is Tim Tebow back into the running for the Heisman? IMO he certainly should be. Althou I'm pulling for Colt.

BTW Layton, I agree with you on those calls.

No doubt he was the whole offense. He took control from start to finish.

I agree. While it was a very good game to watch, I abhor the option offense. They look like a fucking high school team out there running that offense. In any event, you have to tip your cap to Tebow, because the guy doesn't give the ball away. He's only thrown two picks the entire season, and that's what wins football games. He just better figure out how to become a real QB, because running the option in the NFL isn't ever happening. He'll get killed doing that shit in the NFL!

It is a spread offense not an option one

Option is just one aspect of it.

he may not make the best NFL QB but his leadership on the field is beyond anyone i have seen lately in college ball

I still don't see Tebow getting drafted to play QB. Maybe a safety or third receiver but not QB. Frost and Crouch won at Nebraska playing the same way. Where are they now?

Thanks MG

Rick it looks like OU vs UF in Miami but i think OU lost a tailback in this game ( not sure how serious he hurt though i heard it was a knee). UF should have PErcy back in time though

Feel free to call it whatever you want to call it. For the most part, I think college football is a joke but I know an option offense when I see one. Tebow runs the option, A LOT! There aren't a ton of guys who have run that style offense in college and done well at the next level. Time will tell.

Bradford of OU and Sanchez (USC) look like NFL quarterbacks. USC runs a pro offense which I think really benefited N.E. QB Cassell who never even started at USC but still got on an NFL squad.

John I know you hate college ball. I never said though that he would make it to the NFL. In fact i would be very suprised if he did as a QB. They may try to convert him to something else due to his size. Now bradford looks and plays like a pro QB and I think he will do great in the NFL. I love the NFL as well but there are a few dozen players that ruin the game for me and alot of the attitudes of the players which is why I love college ball better. They arent overpaid athletes playing to earn that fat paycheck, college players are playing for the love of the game and the chance to move to the next level even though many dont

In case anyone is wondering....Gator had a great time, he spent the entire night partying and even lived it up a little with some 'Bama fans....he'll be sleepin' it off for awhile since he was literally out all night long. There's a chance he may make a brief appearance here this afternoon so brace yourselves.

is this over the top? no offense natalie, but i don't think scarabgator's adventures at a college football game are breaking news. throw in a schon, or better yet a perry sighting to make it relevant to the majority.

happy the two of you have found one another. rather than flaunt your relationship, try enjoying it in real life. this truly takes a strong stomach to read. hope kirk is well.
Until we meet again, may God
Hold you in the palm of his hand.

Gator, I'll grant ya that Tebow and the boys are kicking some ass, but OU is gonna give them all they want. Ordinarily I WOULD NOT root for OU, but gotta go with a Big 12 school if they play Florida for it all............but I still like ya.
It's not a lie, if you believe it..........
