NFL Week 14

Postby YoungJRNY » Mon Dec 08, 2008 3:24 am

Jacksonville at Chicago

Minnesota at Detroit

Houston at Green Bay: Houston coming into Lambeau in December doesn't bode well. Green Bay needs a win just to stay alive in a thin hope. They crush Houston today at home in front of the faithful. Green Bay by 15.

Cleveland at Tennessee: Cleveland is so bad, my mom can feel it. Doesn't make sense? Doesn't have to when dealing with The Shitstains. Tennessee by 31. Enough said.

Cincinnati at Indianapolis

Atlanta at New Orleans

Philadelphia at NY Giants: UPSET SPECIAL- Philly is playing well and their playoffs started two weeks ago. N.Y.G are the best team around, but they get sidetracked to become even better. Iggles by 4.

Kansas City at Denver: Denver wins big. Denver by 21

Miami at Buffalo

NY Jets at San Francisco

New England at Seattle

St. Louis at Arizona : Arizona in a landslide. Cards by 24.

Dallas at Pittsburgh: Marion Barber is out, and again the weather is going to be a huge factor that favors the best defense in the league. I'm confident in my boys and think they are turning it on at the RIGHT time. Homo Romo takes an ass pounding that he's so use to and the Cowboys get knocked off in Pittsburgh to see their playoff hopes fail. Steelers by 17.

Washington at Baltimore

MON

Tampa Bay at Carolina: This one is TOUUUUUGH. Can go either way from a snap of a finger or a blink of an eye. Tampa Bay is playing under the radar ball, and Jeff Garcia takes teams to different heights. Going to be a helluva game. Carolina seems to start out slow at times and I don't think they can afford that against a stingy D like Tampa. I say Tampa by 12.

Good luck Rick and Gayle and all Cowboy fans.... you're going to need it with a little prayer mixed in

I think all the teams that aren't good are going to lose.....

except the Detroit. They'll probably win......on second thought. First pick in the draft.

LOL. Maybe it's the ocean eyes not adjusting to the snowy conditions via television  We did have 3 games in a row at home., but earlier in the season had a tough away stretch. After this week we go TO BALTIMORE and then TO TENNESSEE, and then finish of the season at home against Cleveland.

BTW, How yah doin, Maui 8) ?

Giants score on a blocked punt, in which David Akers was BLOCKED IN THE BACK. Does anyone know the BITB rule?

I saw it also, which was clear as day. To my understanding, possession should of still went to The Giants since the block in the back occurred after the ball was blocked..but at the spot of the foul should have been a 15 yard penalty and what? Half a distance to the goal? I only saw the reply so it looks like the refs just missed it or decided for it to be a no-call.

Given the time, I can only pick late games today...

Kansas City at Denver - Probably a very close game but I think the immortal Peyton Hillis runs wild and the Broncos beat a bad KC defense.

Miami at Buffalo - Miami is the better team and wins the game.

NY Jets at San Francisco - Jets maintain their hold on first place and beat San Francisco in a close game.

New England at Seattle - Given New England is 20-2 in December since 2003, the Patriots win this one easily. Even if Seattle had a good team, the Patriots aren't losing this game.

St. Louis at Arizona - Cardinals win it easy

Dallas at Pittsburgh - Given Barber is out and Demarcus Ware is out, Pittsburgh should win this one easy. That said, I like the Fraud Boys in the upset!

Tampa Bay at Carolina - Game should be an absolute dog fight. I think the better defense pulls it out in a very low scoring game. Tampa wins 13-10.

Steelers VS Steelers.

Dallas is too brittle in the cold. The Bungles gave us more of a game than these girls. Unfortunately for me.. this game is the Steelers Vs Steelers.

Patriots get screwed by ref......You know. This replay system has to be looked at. The call on the filed takes precedence. But what if the call on the filed is WRONG? Replay official needs to see overwhelming evidence to the contrary. And if a camera angle isn't available to overturn it, then the WRONG call stands. WTF is that shit!?

I'm coming very close to not watching organized pro sports anymore......

I didn't watch the NE game but...it must be hard on you S2M, I think that all referees are out to get you and your teams. I mean yesterday it was the refs in the Florida/ Alabama game and today it's the NE/SEA game...wow, I think they are all against you, there can't be any other explaination.

Yep, that game reflected more on Pittsburgh than it did the Cowboys. The Cowboys offense is pretty dismal. Romo has zero time to throw, and when he does throw, God only knows who he's throwing to.

Angel, if you read as much as you posted - you'd know that I am a Detroit fan. BTW, must be tough on YOU, hitching your fanatic wagon to the frontrunners....

I would say that these are the four main reasons(in order) why a team loses:

1) play calling
2) officiating
3) injuries
4) level of talent

and as far as the Florida/Alabama game....I didn't have a horse in the race. But I just can't help rooting against a team that has such uninformed, assinine, fanatical fanbase like UF does.....

So sorry I haven't been studying your every move S2M-I'll try to pay closer attention to your posts so I have a better understanding of your likes and dislikes.

I do find your "it's not our fault we lost" reasoning interesting...now does this hold true for all teams or only when it's one of your teams that loses? Level of talent being last on the list of reasons a team loses? Hmm, interesting.

As for your UF comment....well that doesn't even deserve a response. Have a great evening.

This was first time I felt that T.O. was right to be pissed. Romo didn't eveh look at him. The touchdown T.O. caught was a last option type throw. T.0. should have been the number one option in the entire second half.

well .. even when romo threw to T.O. , they didnt have the some routes in mind..

T.O. would stop running and cut back , and romo would throw long... cant they just go over the plays they learned in practice? geesh..

Maybe Jerry Jones will finally smarten the fuck up and fire that douche, Phillips! The Steelers did not win that game. Dallas giftwrapped it and handed it to them. Romo gets WAY to much credit for being a good QB, when the reality is that the guy has never won a fucking thing and still makes more mistakes than rookies like Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco!
