with azoff a the helm i doubt ilaa will be going out of biz. can we file a complaint under anti trust violation? the man owns/controls way too much of the industry, way too much.

I'm glad the Mac is back! Unfortunately I don't think the prices they will be charging will fit my budget this time around.

Kinda backwards thinking by these concert promoters....Charging exorbinant prices for groups WAYYYY past their musical prime. It is not worth the price to see these bands today. Genesis, Eagles, REO, Van Halen, Journey, Styx, Fleetwood Mac.....etc.

In their heyday, you could see them for $15.....I'll pass on them all.

Do you pass on bread at the store when it's more than 75 cents? Or milk when it's more than $1.50/gallon? Or stamps when they're more than 15 cents? Those were the prices in 1981 - and yes, a concert ticket was $15. But today, 25+ years later, the prices for everything have gone up. I had no problem paying $50 for a pavilion ticket this past summer to see four hours of music with Cheap Trick, Heart and Journey. Hell of a value, in my opinion.

I'm not bashing you for not wanting to see these bands at today's prices. But I don't think you can blame it on the promoters for not keeping today's prices lower than the prices of yesteryear because the bands aren't in their heydays. It's a quarter-century later.

Again, and I'm not bashing you, but people's LOGIC around here just sucks ass. It is NOT the same product. Paying for bread in '81 at 40 cents a loaf, and paying for bread in '08 at 2.40 a loaf - it is STILL the SAME product.

Going to a Fleetwood Mac show in 1977(heyday), and in '08(without Christine), is NOT the SAME.

Mailing a letter at 15 cents, and at 47 cents - still gets the mail....well, mailed.

Purchasing a gallon of milk at either price still gets you the SAME gallon of milk.....

Get a load of this....want a 5 Star ILAA Fleetwood Mac package? It's going to cost up to $1,000 per ticket, and you won't even get to meet the band. Fear not, they will give you some crappy food before the show, and even a "souvenir laminate". Yippee!

I hope that ILAA goes out of business for the disservice that they do to fans. Their only job is to jack up ticket prices into the stratosphere. And their slogan...."Where TRUE fans get tickets" is quite inaccurate. What about those fans who don't have $2,000 lying around collecting dust? Paying $1,000 per ticket is like writing an $850 check out to ILAA and Fleetwood Mac for a gift bag and a "souvenir" laminate".

I paid $120 for a front row AC/DC ticket thanks to their fan club and paperless ticketing from Ticketmaster. If only all arena shows could work like that.....

For a grand, the 1978 model of Stevie Nicks better show up and service me! Otherwise- no dice!

Love to see the Mac again, though. Believe it or not, I've seen em twice and Buckingham wasn't with them EITHER TIME!
(86, the TANGO tour where he had just walked, and some weird 94 version with Dave Mason and Becka Bramlett!)
