Yes, they were great! After reading reports about lipsynching during the German shows I was very worried about this concert. Never have I been so glad I went to see them anyway; great setlist and all performed very live indeed!

Hope everybody has had a good Christmas. I cooked a meal for 10 people; quite a chore to get everything warm and ready at the same time, but everything turned out alright in the end (with the help of some beer to ease my mid-cooking panic attack  )

Yes I had enough meat, barely though! We bought an extra kilo at the last minute and that was a good idea; the second round of potatos took quite long in the oven so everybody took some more meat in the meantime. On the other hand... the red cabbage -one small pot- was more than plenty!

It is freezing over in Victoria at the moment, once the fog lifts,
Nothing much to report, other that my Saints are top of the ladder.
Reading between lines, congrats you and misses , Kenny, on impending arrival.

Yep thanks Doggy - we're thrilled.

Your Saints are going bloody well aren't they? I look forward to RD 14, St.Kilda Vs Geelong, should be a beauty. The Eagles just aren't the side they used to be, but I think they'll be very good in a year or two.

My life has been idle. Jobs are scarce, and my hours keep falling at work. I've had to spend some of my 'future car' savings just to scrape by.

But some good news: I became a Godfather nearly 8 months ago. My best friend's baby was born a day after Halloween. He's so busy with his work that I've only seen him once since then. Babies grow too fast.

And my words don't count? :P

Maybe it's that Chinese communist censorship at work. I'm sure deep inside he said hello and asked for a beer.

Oi Doggy are you tipping your Saints to beat the Cats mate? I hope they win because I can't stand Geelong!

Well, I dunno about 'smashed them' but it was a bloody good game! Of course it took an ex-Eagle in Michael Gardiner to take that HUGE mark and kick the winning goal....fantastic effort by the Saints.

BTW, what did you think of that bullshit 50metre penalty paid to Ablett??

Ablett is one of few , who the umpires love along with Judd, Reiwolte, Mitchell of hawthorn.
The best footage was watching Ablett at the end screaming like a little girl.

Yeah he hasn't learned how to be a gracious loser yet but then I think that is Geelong all over. I am definitely hoping the Saints win this years flag.

All the best to you and family Doggy.

Aah St. Kilda just put the foot down when they had to mate...they were entitled to a bit of a let down after last weeks game (look what happened to Geelong) and they did well to get through with a win. Gee Gardiner is going well isn't he?

Australia, on the evidence presented in the first Test....I think if Johnson can find his form and Siddle can take wickets instead of trying to hit blokes all the time I think we can go on and win. England played negative cricket for virtually the whole game and were very lucky to escape with a draw.

I would like to see Lee given a final hurrah in England - he was in pretty good form when he got injured and would be devastated to not be playing in the first two tests.
