Anybody hear any whispers who may be appearing at this event? I got my tickets already. I think I saw on Jamison's myspace he has this date listed, so he's one. But haven't heard anybody else. I hope it's close to the same lineup as his soundstage and charity gig a couple of months ago. Wouldn't mind seeing Bickler, Martha Davis, and even Ray Parker, Jr. (non-Ghostbuter stuff preferably).

Ray Parker, Jr. had a killer track called "The other woman". Doubt if he'll play that if he shows up though. :?

He played it at one of the two shows he did this year with World Stage. I think the HOB show.

World Stage

Postby Cheryl » Mon Jan 12, 2009 5:47 pm

I may go to this show to hear JP....and of course Jimi. Last time I saw Jimi here in Biloxi, MS in April, he was very happy with the cd and we had a long talk about the music...along with the usual, how you doing stuff....he told me Bickler was gonna be on the cd.

The reason you will see Jimi act different at the RPM or Mickey and friends shows coz he's having a lot of fun, these are his friends and it's just a different vibe, you really can't explain it. He and Mickey are like brother's and the love that they have for each other I think is what people pick up on.
love everyone, everyday, every minute...

I think Jimi and Mickey sound best together and it showed in Vital Signs. I hope in JJ's next album there will be more harmonies involved with both. Someone correct me whether there was more than one song where Mickey was involved in, in Crossroads Moment.

I never thought it would air...I always thought it would be direct to video kind of thing....but who knows, maybe PBS will have an open time slot to fill....If it were Survivor it probably would as Soundstage is about bands, not to many have aired that were a group of guys from different bands.....

Hope it works out for all involved......
