New girlfriend sweetening your disposition or you still trying to dig out of the hole from the Liverpool exchange?

Seriously, it's really nice of you to say that, Ken.

Well today's my birthday and let's just say she treated me very well. I didn't get home 'til 7 this morning. Last weekend was her 30th birthday so it's been a good week. 8)

But I meant what I said about you.

Hey, happy birthday, Kennee! I'd say have a great one, but clearly you already did. :D

Thank you Linda. She told me my wardrobe needs "help". WTF is wrong with Journey T-shirts? :?: LOL! (yes she likes Journey and her 5-year old daughter knows the words to DSB). :!: When I heard that, I knew she was cool. So anyway, I told her "OK, if my wardrobe needs help, then take me shopping." She said: "I can't afford to buy you new clothes." I told her I didn't expect her to do that but she could help me pick out some cool shit. She used to be a shopper for rich people. Talk about an awesome gig. So today we're going shopping at the Galleria and then she's taking me to dinner for my birthday. This chick rocks.

Ken's in lurve! 8)

You sound really happy, Ken; I think that's fabulous. :D

She IS going to have to pass chica inspection eventually, however ...

TSO at the Toyota Center December 27, perhaps?

Oh, and pay attention to the wardrobe tutorial ... can't hurt, might help

Glad you made it back okay; talked to Steve last night and he said it was dumping tons of snow and had been for several days.

Ahhh, Red Rocks ... goofiness and good times! Roll on 2009 concert season ...

Wow...How do you like playing the V-Drums? A band that I am currently playing with, after having some difficulties with managing 'sound', asked what I thought about potentially playing V-Drums instead of my live kit...I was pretty much against it. This after spending over $900 in Cymbals...

I enjoy them. There are pros and cons like with anything, but for me the pros outweigh the cons. One of the big pros is running sounds for them... you don't need to mic the drums. This guy says it much better than I can:

Cool - I haven't heard of any real-applicable live utilization of v-drums. I like them for rehearsals - but that's about it...Would love to hear some of your performances with them, if you have any available.

cheers

And Nora, you look like Stockard Channing; like you just stepped off the West Wing set for cocktails.
