Stealing from S2M's idea. I seem to have been more into the rock than the lite when it came to music back in the day. What are some songs that you remember hearing played alot on the stereo at parties or that just take you back......

Nazareth ~ Hair of the Dog http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEG0-3xlAkg

April Wine ~ Roller http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJTwcTPhYyc

TC & Red Rider ~ Lunatic Fringe http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TksAGzfw8Z0

Aldo Nova ~ Fantasy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUQWeaKlUVk

Aerosmith ~ Sweet Emotion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yGCHPmfqT0

Whitesnake ~ Here I go Again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKTiwCez6Zs

I LOL when I hear this one.....I had a friend that just loved this song, thought Mike Tramp was just the greatest. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIhhGVFKXoM

Not sure if I'd call them 'rock' but they weren't exactly 'lite' either  .

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwwPmNWQ ... re=related

In any case, I partied many times in the 80's to Doug & the Slugs (and I believe I actually partied with them once  . Do you remember 'The Bank' on the 8th Avenue Mall, Deb? I believe that was the scene of said party  .

And sticking with Canadians, Coney Hatch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31ThBLACIzU and Crowbar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yay4YMyL8U0 were also favorites way back when.

I'm not sure, I do remember a club on 8th back in the 80s that did have a lot of live rock acts, but can't remember the name. I remember seeing Lee Aaron at that one on 8th. For a little thing, she's got a HUGE voice, I remember she just rocked the place.

An ok tune, until one moment in my life...I remember hearing this tune come on the car radio right after exiting an AC/DC concert in 1990. My buddy Pete and I almost wretched from the fagginess of it. We had to put on the Cult, Electric album to keep our food down. That's how much AC/DC rocked. For sheer rock n roll aggression, I still have never seen anything like it.
