AFL cancels 2009 season

Shit's kinda fun to watch. Really fun and cheap to go and get hammered and watch too. I'm sure no one will miss it that much, but if shit gets worse, we might see far more major sports than this cancel or cut their seasons short. Even the mighty NFL would have trouble without having the sponsorship of say, the Big 3

Well, it matters to Bon Jovi. He owned a franchise, Philly I believe, and Elway too.

Worse yet, where the Hell is Teebow going to play now? Better buy a big warm parka Tim, Canada is mighty cold, save for Vancouver. Hope the BC Lions draft ya, or you will freeze like a fuckin popsicle.

That's for sure this week, we are in the middle of a 3 day deep freeze until tomorrow. It's -28 C right now, that's about -19 F I think. Can't believe people think they can still drive like it's summer.........if I wouldn't have left lots of room to stop, some idiot would have slid right into my car yesterday......and it hasn't even got 2700 km on it yet. Ok, rant over.

Love it when the giant 18 wheelers fly by me at 80 MPH in the middle of a Northwestern PA/Northeastern Ohio snow belt white out.

As a railroad guy, I hate truckers, but they are a helluva lot safer than you women out there, who only know the gas pedal, the mirror and the volume button on the radio. Women are horrible drivers, all of them, period.

Too many beers? Or was he trying to go Jeff Gordon on all the other drivers?

Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

Yes, we know you're still stuck in the 19th century. And crash billions of dollars of technology into Mars because you don't know that feet and inches isn't a scientific measurement.
