OT: Adam Walsh case finally solved...

Postby Rip Rokken » Wed Dec 17, 2008 7:46 am

... or at least, police are closing the case and say they have now conclusively linked long-time suspect Ottis Toole to the murder of John Walsh's 6-year old son. Wouldn't want to be that guy on Judgment Day.

I just cannot believe what animals roam the f'ing planet.
What the hell kind of twisted f*** could do this to anyone, let alone a kid?

The horrible thing is there's another, even more gruesome s.o.b. just waiting for his turn, and another and another. WTF???

Walsh should get some kind of commendation (If he hasn't already) for all that he's done to help others in similar situations.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

I hear ya. I remember when that happened, was heartbreaking. I can't even begin to imagine.  John Walsh seems like a very strong man to be able to pull himself out of the hell I can only imagine he must have been living through and devote his time to helping catch other bottom feeders of society.

Oh, it was Ottis Toole apparently, and he died a while back. He was a known serial killer, but the problem was his credibility -- he'd confessed to over 100 killings, and many of those confessions were found to be false. Also confessed to/recanted the Walsh killing a few times. #1 suspect for a long time, but now apparently enough evidence to prove conclusively that it was him.

I am sure Adam's dad would still like to know. Peace of mind can be a good thing.

He knows..........Police Say Walsh's 1981 Murder Solved.....
"Who could take a 6-year-old and murder and decapitate him? Who?" an emotional John Walsh said at Tuesday's news conference. "We needed to know. We needed to know. And today we know. The not knowing has been a torture, but that journey's over."

and WHY would somebody confess to hundreds of murders? Is that like some badge of status among the psycho elite?

Sorry, I just hear this kind of stuff and it just makes me think the worst of our species.

Wow, reading this definetly takes me back! I remember this happening like it was last year. My sister and her kids lived in Hollywood and I lived in Miami and I would spend the weekends with them frequently. I couldnt tell you how many times we went to the old Hollywood Mall and just hung out. I saw many movies at the theater in that mall, ET, Rocky 3, Poltergeist...on and on. When this happened with Adam it was the last time we were allowed to go without adult supervision. I must say that everytime I walked around that old Sears store he was abducted from it sent shivers.....
Thank God this family can start closing this horrible chapter of their life.

I used to work in Juvenile Court, and some of the things I heard that were done to children at the hands of their so-called parents, step-parents, foster parents made me physically ill. It breaks your heart what's done to innocent children by monsters that walk around looking normal.

Otis Toole died back in the 90's in prison. Much too easy a way to go for a low life piece of garbage like this....

Wow, I'd forgotten he disappeared on my exact birthday 7/27/81.......I'm glad the family finally has some sense of closure after all those years.

I'm glad that the family finally has closure. As a mother of 4, I can only imagine what they have gone through for the past 27 years. My heart goes out to them.

Ain't that the damn truth! Where do all these sick-o's come from? I just don't get it.

Walsh has absolutely put his grief aside and done a lot of good for others...kuddos for him.
