Don't get me wrong - I don't fault the guy for making appearances and capitalizing on his new-found popularity. But make if you're going to make appearance, make them on behalf of Journey. He sings for Journey now. A majority of the clips I've seen, save a couple, are him singing other people's songs. Promote Revelation. Sing Faithfully wherever someone shoves a camera in your face. I question the merits of him performing with the Zoo Band singing Heart and Guns N' Roses, especially because the band took an extra two months off for him to rest his voice.
The dude was probably singing an average of one song a week last month and increased a bit to 3 this month. Do you really think this is tasking his voice?
Arnel regularly interacts with his mostly-Pinoy fans through his website. I am thinking that the songs he is singing now are the ones that his fans want him to sing. As I said before, when he is in the Philippines, he will sing whatever the Pinoys want.
