What is Burning Love?

Postby tj » Tue Dec 23, 2008 2:41 am

Still thinking about Stone in Love. Particularly, "Burnin love comes once in a lifetime". What is burning love?

My understanding was that if you got "burnin love", it stayed with you forever, not just once in a lifetime. Symptoms were treatable with medication which helped sooth the "burnin", but there was no getting rid of the "love".

Also, do you catch the "burnin love" from the Blue Jean Girl? (no offense intended to BJG, just wonderin').

Aw, christ on a cracker. :? I see this thread going downhill fast.
Especially once Dean gets home.

Maybe you do catch it from the blue jean girl, but not THIS bluejeangirl.
Ya better go ask Perry who he got it from because I can't help you on this one.

And before we have a thread about 'danced by the moonlight" and rolling around in clover, I'll spell those out for ya... means they fucked. Good and hard.

'K? Kthx.

I've had burnin' love around 11 times; 8 Filipina versions of it, two Thai versions of it and one Nepalese version of it. I'm celibate now.

Because your dick fell off? Wow!
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

It's too bad you don't know what it means yet. It's a love so deep that you feel the burning in your heart whenever you think of that person..when you hear their voice or see them approach...your heart beat increases and it feels like a butterfly is flapping it's wings in your chest and you feel intense warmth. And no, true love never leaves..once someone has found a place in your heart you will always carry them with you. Hope that helps a little. :)

You could make a song from all that imagery...call it "Butterfly" or something.

I think we can love and love deeply many times but the love that transcends all others... if we are lucky enough to find them is with someone who is truly our soulmate... that love only happens once in a lifetime.
