You do know this thread was hijacked by E Streeters! :o

Saw Dylan once. Did not move me whatsoever. Every song was real deep and political.. That's ok, but I prefer a mix up.

Dancing in the Dark and a couple of those other turkeys he did in the 80's were just as bad as some of Journey's corny ballads... I love Bob Dylan and Willie more than Bruce and probably more than Journey but it would be weird to worship them here... What do you think? And please don't get mad; it's just an observation...

You don't like Jon Leonard Friga? I think he's pretty cool even if he does play both sides of the fence.

That guy is the type of person who would steal your last beer out of the fridge, bitch about the amount of the tip and fuck your gf when you turn your back. A real true asshole.

Plus he wears Tito's underwear that Stevew threw onstage in Vegas. It's on the Revelation DVD somewhere, but you need to play it in slow motion to see it.

He sold out to Walmart. Putting out yet another GH CD. I assume it's for Super Bowl pub, and I don't think he had the call over where it was released. I think, and hope Sony made this decision. People will let him know about it at the shows for sure if he made the call. Walmart goes against everything he and his music stands for. It will probably sell 8-10 million units at 10 bucks a pop, but it reeks of hypocrisy. Andrew, get the news on this and don't crib it from Backstreets ok? :D

Haven't seen any press releases yet Deano and am still on vacation anyway... Will find/recieve next week and comment then :)

I am more fired up than ever before in my life. Prior to this, the biggest event in my life was Detroit going 0-16.

Okay I made some calls and here is the deal. YES, it was going to go down and was all but inked.

The network then found out Perry was no longer in the Band and declined.

Damn, so close too !!!!

So, I finally found out that they will be in Tampa and it won't be part of the Big Pepsi Bash on MTV. The MTV shows might actually be pretty cool to see also as they will probably show the complete setlists of the acts performing.

I think I'd actually rather watch 3 hours of football (which I dislike) than all the Perry-oke. Sorry. But we all know what song is gonna be televised (if this is true, that is). And then its gonna be 10 minutes of stupid commentators saying crap like "wow he sounds just like Steve Perry...." and "I feel like its 1981 again!" Pass.

Except there will probably be one sports analyst, probably an ex- player who will say there is only one Steve Perry, and the message boards will light up calling the guy a hater and racist and bigot and so forth.
