Don't care much for Mr. Big, but I really like Gilbert's and Sheehan's work besides it. They are both world class musicians. But I am a pretty big Bruce fan too even though his politicking is obnoxious.
And are you saying Bruce, Nils and Steven, and Bittan are not world class musicians? Curious to hear your take on this.
Nah, definitely not. Anybody that plays this long with that much success is world class in my eyes. I don't know how much input the rest of the guys typically get on a Bruce+E Street album in terms of songwriting? Enlighten me if you could? That would really heighten my opinion of Bruce's backing band.
Bruce writes the entire album via piano or guitar. Bittan adds his ideas as well as Steve. Clarence plays when and where Bruce tells him to. It is a one man show(director). No one argues in this band!
Cool. Hopefully Working on a Dream is as good as Magic. That was one of Bruce's best records ever. BTW, just saw Magic's only 7.99 on iTunes. That's a deal, snatch it up doubters.
