And Florida remains the lone top 5 team that lost a home game. And remember, Mississippi lost to teams like Wake Forest(8-5), Vanderbilt(7-6), and South Carolina(7-6). But Florida lost to them at HOME and potentially deserves the title more than Utah? Sorry, man, your logic has run out. Utah beat TCU, BYU, Oregon State and more importantly...didn't lose to anyone at home or anywhere else. And they came into a Bowl Game with a predominantly hostile Bama crowd and housed their asses. The closest Alabama got was 11 points!!! You know, the same Alabama that took Florida down to the last few minutes of the game.

1- The PAC 10 may not want to go to the two division bullshit, as it dilutes the conference.

2- Both Utah and Boise can't join due to academia inferiority. Their respective schools don't or can't mesh with the institutional prowess of the current 10 schools. It would create an possibly unfair recruiting scenario, where all the gangsters and hoodlums would go to the Mountain schools because of easier academic entry, instead of going to the existing 10 schools.

Dude, I think OU is great, BUT...how do you say they "belong there" when Texas did them by 10? Sorry, I hate fucking Texas, but out of the three Big 12 clubs, they belong there. IMO, OU, TX and USC are the three who should have been fought over. The SEC got in because of their "past image" of being a super conference. Fact is, while there are 12 teams in the SEC, and mathematically, they could all play each other within the schedule, they don't. They only play 8 teams, thus always avoiding some of the better teams in the conference, while enjoying the OOC feast that is The Citadel and Hawaii. The PAC plays every school in the conference. Every conference should do this. With the 12 game schedule, Florida could have played every SEC team + one OOC game. Instead, they schedule Miami(shit), Hawaii(shit), The Citadel(a grown up boy scout school), and Florida State(decent), thus winning all 4 games. In playing these shit teams, they avoided playing Auburn, Mississippi St,, and possibly Alabama had it not won it's division of the SEC. Those teams, (Miss St and AU), while down this year, are still better than Hawaii and the fuckin Citadel! There are other reasons the SEC is a pussy conference- They intentionally do this in order to have more teams from the SEC available and eligible for Bowl season, thus ensuring more monies for participation. So, in conclusion, the SEC brags about the entire conference has a whole, being great, yet they don't insist that all teams play one another. It's pure political bullshit on the SEC's part.
