One has to be fucked in the head not to say Steve Smith.
Aynsley and Deen are both great, the other two were in the band for 5 minutes and Steve Smith is the frickin' bomb.

Yep, Smitty is probably the best technically.....but I have to tell ya, when it comes to live Deen's a lot more fun to watch. Not sure what it is, but he just exudes a passion for his craft up there on stage.![]()
Music is much more of a feeling then technical skills for me, probably why I usually like bass more than guitar. Ever notice how a bass player plays bass more with his body and a guitar player plays more with his face (expressions).

I'm sure Smith wanted to throw a drumstick (or something even bigger) at him a few times.

Ok, I admit to not memorizing every nanosecond of every Journey video/concert....etc....
But I HAVE to bear witness to the aforementioned humpty dance and the subsequent hurling of said items from the drum riser....
Fess up. Tell me now!

Cause playing guitar is like musical masturbation.....Those are 'fuck me faces'....![]()
