Trying to round up someone to go with me to see them in St. Louis a week from today. No takers so far, and the $90 price tag is scaring me a little bit. Poor college student here. But I'm thinking I don't want to miss this opportunity though.

i saw AC/DC back in 1991 and out of all the live shows i attended the last twenty or so years that was the best one.AC/DC always gives the fans their moneys worth and they put out plenty of energy too.i bet angus loses ten pounds a night running around the stage.best live concert in my opinion in the rock biz.

my uncle said when he saw them in '82 they shot the cannons off during we salute you and the tiles in the ceiling started falling on peoples heads and people were ducking from the debris.would've loved to have been at that one....

I'll be there.

There are using the goofy paperless ticket system on this show. I thought I had six tickets but there was a 4-per-household limit so they kicked two back and didn't even email me. It's normally an 8-ticket limit so I wasn't looking at the fine print when I ordered. I just happen to notice the refund on my credit card statement. It would have sucked if we would have got there and found that out. It's bad enough having to tell two friends they can't go.

Does anyone know how Brian Johnson's voice is holding up on tour? Does he sound like he's been gargling shredded glass yet?

Here is a clip from one of their recent shows. It's hard to hear the vocals, but they don't sound too bad.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJJRDsUiHZk

Here's a little clip from last night's show in Cleveland:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtyGSL8XObQ

Sounds like the vocals are holding up about as good as you could expect for a 61-year-old lead singer. I wouldn't want to have to scream that shit every night - it would give you a frigging headache!

Hmm, never heard that before.

My 90 year old Gram gave me a Hello Kitty Toaster and Coffee maker from Target this year.

It has royally screwed my mind over. Haven't been the same since Dec 25th 2008.

My Uncle Larry use to work at The Brawney Paper Towel Company with the Lumber Jack dude on roll. Guy is as gay as a mule in tiuana.

He only made minumum wage but stayed there for years as he love the guys photo on the roll.

they may not be as good as they once were.
but still put on one of the best shows.
in cincy last night they opened with a video of a runaway train, then the screen split and a almost lifesize
locomotive came thru.
they played 4 songsfrom the new cd, all sounded good , and a majority of thier hits
came on stage at apx 8:25 and played unil 10:25 2 hrs
not many bands play that long any more
so if you didnt mind paying 75 for a journey tix and get a 1:20 set
100.00 for a 2 hour set is worth it.

its a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll

Saw them Dec 20th. Great show 4 thime seeing them. Still one of the best shows around. The energy they put forth in every show is amazing. Just keep saying to yourself Brian Johnson is 61 and Angus is 57 I think, they dont stop moving the whole night. Great show and I would pay to see them again if they came back
